Boys, a little more than 6 months ago, I started to have some shitty changes. Tired all of the time regardless of sleep, concentration issues that I've never seen before, weight gain, the start of gyno. No issues with libido or erection, so I changed my diet, hit the gym more regularly. After 5 months of noticing 0 changes on strength or weight, I went to the doctor and got blood work done.

Test results aren't exactly great. Test is 174, and Free Test is 3.4. I'm mid 30's. Taking second test next week to confirm. I've searched here, read a few topics posted, but man, this sucks. Not what I was expecting to deal with for basically the rest of my life. Looking for advice, tips, sort of just wanting to vent and see what you guys suggest for me.

Your test is extremely low. I hopped on test pills instead of the shots and I feel a million times better

Which is why I went to the doctor. 3-4 days a week in the gym with minimal strength gains was my concern.

Your T is very low. I would see what your doctor can do.

Hitting the gym does not mean anything without context. You need to be hitting the gym with a plan. That plan needs to be adding a lot of muscle mass as well. Honestly you should be hitting squats like crazy. Lose weight if you have weight to lose.

Another thing is sex, you need to have a lot of sex. Have sex the night before you next test and I promise the number will be higher.

Sleep, get a sleep study if you cannot sleep.

Eventually you might have to entertain TRT. It is not the end of the world, but it is going to cost you money and a commitment for life. If you come to grips with that, life will be better. You basically get to keep your T levels in high optimal range, but it is what it is.

Height, weight, and age?

Do you want kids? Because TRT can end those dreams if not done correctly. And it’s lifelong if diet, lifting heavy, and sleep aren’t helping.

Clomid.
Worked wonders for me and went from 250 to 1000 in a month.
This is assuming you do not have underlying testicular issues.
Also: It’s not a steroid and you don’t have to cycle it. No negative side effects for me

Clomid is a good valid option if your doctor will hook you up. I would see a real doctor/urologist, as any T clinic will just want to give you TRT. See what you get out of it first.

This is so far outside any reasonable expectation

I am not saying it is not true, but OP should not even get near to expecting that on Clomid. You should expect a 100% increase of your current T levels. 200% if everything lines up. A 300% increase in a month would be like the 99th percentile results.

That’s really, really low. You’re gonna need to get some T in a script. There are some natural ways to boost it, but I don’t know if those ways could get you in a healthier range unless you’re morbidly obese.

Not sure where you are but find a Test clinic in your area. You'll definitely need weekly injections but you're in for a real treat since the 2nd and 3rd week after injections you'll feel absolutely amazing. I legit felt like Superman after my 2nd week of shots.

My total T now is 961 and Free is 36

Did the exact same for me. 249 to 1019 in 1 month. And I felt 100x worse Couldn't wait to get off of it.

Clomid is not a long term solution for the majority of people, and should just be used to determine whether you have primary or secondary hypogonadism. The skyrocketing estrogen and potential side effects are the iceberg for the Titanic test numbers. Until Enclomiphene becomes available in the US, test shots are the way to go.

OP, ask away if you have questions. I've seen 3 endocrinologists, 2 urologists, and one of the foremost HRT experts in the world regarding this stuff. Been struggling with different plans and regimens for about a year now, but we've finally got things to where I'm feeling better.

I’m assuming your total T is 172 ng/dl which is obviously low low. I’m sure some people would tell you to take TRT or different forms of it. You should at least start taking Zinc, D3, Selenium, Magnesium, nascent Iodine everyday. That’ll all help but it’s not going to be the cure to your problem. Should bump up your T tho a little bit while you weigh your options and talk with doctors

I’ve heard some people who have been on TRT who then decide to have kids so they would stop taking it and start taking HCG instead and then go back on TRT after. Apparently it worked for one random guy on the internet if that means anything or if y’all heard the same from other people

I have some leftover Clomid from pro-hormone cycle days in college. I'm also on TRT after a bout with testicular cancer a few years ago and still under a monitoring protocol.

Should I just trash the Clomid? I've probably had it for 10+ years now.

Hell yes, it could be like fertilizer for testicular cancer. They probably have you on test to keep Lh and fsh low to inhibit testicular function, the exact opposite of clomid

6'4" 280 gained 40 lbs in the last year, and 36. No worries about the kids or lack of having them.

Start it along with a weekly lifting program that incorporates deadlifts, squats and a ton of free weights.
