yep you need to see about geting on TrT and then get some boron and take 6mg morning, 6 at night

Boron Citrate, Boron Aspartate, Boron Glycinate or a complex?
Posted on 9/15/22 at 4:53 pm to Blutarsky
Picked up something with 10mg Boron Glycinate in it and I’m getting a 3mg complex in tomorrow.
Seeing the Dr on Monday.
What’s the time frame on boron affecting it naturally? A week? I may ask the Dr to run a starting baseline next week after I go a week with the boron before starting TRT.

5/26/21- test 365
6/20/22- test 204
8/26/22- test 1022
35, male, 1.5 years sober. Started taking Clomid, 25mg every other day. Now backing it down to 25mg every 3 days.
Diets decent. Lot of eggs, salad, meat, venison. Pretty good at tracking calories and sticking around 1800 a day. Sometimes a piece of Ezekiel bread with breakfast and a cup of rice with lunch. Try to limit carbs at dinner.
F45 classes 5 days a week for the last 4 months.
Still having trouble losing weight or fat. Do inbody scans once a week.
ETA- multi vitamin and D ain’t AM.
Ashwaganda, magnesium, iron, zinc in evening.
Thoughts LSU777?

Gonna retest bloodwork next month.
I added: Boron and grabbed something from GNC: Alpha 365. I’m also getting a year supply of finasteride and will start a daily .5mg of an aromatose inhibitor in the next week or so.

Technically that type of increase is beyond the Clomid Test increase levels of 100-200%.
The other work you have done probably did the heaving lifting. Eating right and building muscle is key. to get you back to your 2021 Test numbers and then Clomid did its magic.
With Testosterone coming in 1000, I would think fat is getting converted to muscle much easier. Inbody would tell you obviously. You might lay off F45 classes and just start doing some core lifts to build muscle if you are stuck.

have full panel done next time to make sure everything else is in order
taper off the clomid, it did its job, you should be completely receovered now, no real need
honestly my thoughts are, quit doing F45 and start lifting heavy arse weights 3-4 days a week and start walking a ton on off days
what are your total steps for a normal day on average? You neat has to be low for you not to be losing weight on 1800 cals.
also can you post the body scan?
Posted on 9/20/22 at 3:11 pm to lsu777
What numbers you want to see off full panel? Have had it done before Clomid
Average steps are 9-11k a day per Apple Watch.
Only thing I can guess is I’m not accurately recording my food as I should be losing weight.
Will figure out how to post inbody
Why taper off Clomid? Wouldn’t I return ba k to low levels?

you shouldnt. the clomid should have caused a full recovery. if you return down to low levels and are done having kids, just get on testosterone. better for you in the long run
by full panel i meant estrogen, free t, prog and the total t number you posted.
what about thyroid issues?
if you are truely at ~10k steps on average then you should be shedding weight like crazy.

Got it. That’s why I started with Clomid because not100% sure we are done with kids.
I believe thyroid was tested as to rule out that was a cause of the low T.
Not sure if free t and estrogen were tested unless I don’t know the medical names for them on My Chart.
Went back 2 weeks on my Apple Watch and looked at steps each day to get that average.
Only thing I can guess is I am terrible and tracking macros and eating astronomically more than I think.
Lutenizing hormone was 5.8 miU/ml before I started Clomid.

Do you have a scale for the food? I was using a scale and completely had awesome gains. I started “eyeballing” my food and stayed level for a month or so. I went back to weighing my food and the lbs started dropping again. I don’t know your weight or body composition but 1800 seems very low. It seems like 2200 or so would be more beneficial in the long run.

Yes I have a scale but haven’t been using it recently….which is probably part of it. But I also use the same little containers day in and day out so it should be pretty similar.
I’m 5’7, 225 right now, was 250 so I’m trending in the right direction but still stuck around 225.
I think last inbody had be at 34 BMI. I’m gonna do another one tomorrow and post numbers.
ETA- I am starting to see some body changes in the last month. So maybe I’m just being hyper critical of scale and shouldn’t be.

If your weight stalls, but you’re getting stronger, looking better in the mirror, and your clothes are getting looser, it’s ok to accept that it’s an ok stall. If it lasts too long, you might have found maintenance. Cut calories by another 100-200 per day.

Okay thank you. My biggest take away once I put it in writing is I need to get back to actually measuring correctly/accurately

If you are doing an inbody, focus on the BF% and not BMI. Your BMI could stay the same but you could drop in % BF.

Yup, pay attention to this.
I hit a hard stall for close to a year, but dropped two pant sizes. I did not notice the pants getting looser as much as I was pissed the weight did not drop

Just got my test results back today. I'm currently at 371. Full disclosure, I'm 5'11 240lbs and type 2. A1C is not too bad, currently at 6.2.
If I were to actually stick with a lifting program and lose some fat, does it seem plausible that I could get a decent increase to my test levels?

Did they check FSH/LH levels? Estradiol? Estrogen?
Posted on 9/23/22 at 8:34 pm to Blutarsky
Unfortunately not. They just included the t test in with my A1C and normal blood work.
Posted on 9/23/22 at 9:26 pm to nastywideouts
Get more bloodwork with those additions and add cortisol levels as well.
