If you "changed your diet" and noticed zero difference then you didn't change your diet correctly. But if it's age related reduction in testosterone, you probably won't see much of an increase in your T with just dietary changes unless you are obese and lose a shitload of weight.

So I spent the last couple of weeks using Push/Pull work out routine, lifting as heavy as possible. 3 sets of 6 to 8 reps, with the last set being close to failure. Had sex at least 4 times a week, even the morning of my test, and made sure to get 8 hours of sleep. Lost 8 lbs from jogging 30 mins every day.
Test results came back this morning. From 172 to 129. Going see the endo this week.

From everything that I’ve gathered, sex will immediately lower your test and for several hours after, boxers and mma fighters will sometimes refrain from sex one week up to a month before a fight. I can’t last that long.

This thread is an excellent reminder for everyone to get tested and establish a baseline - especially if you are in great health and feeling good.
3 years from now if you pack on a little extra weight and get tested, you have something to compare against.

Really makes me wonder how long I've had problems for, and if it was gradual or sudden. Good advice.

Guaranteed it was gradual hence the reason most people don't recognize that they are low T.

So I've got an update for everyone. Finally was able to see an endocrinologist this week. Results arent what I wanted, but it appears I have a tumor on my pituitary gland. So a shout out to everyone here, if you feel like shite, get checked out. Scheduling a CT scan in the next 2 weeks and hopefully going from there.

Dang, good luck with it. We are here when you need to vent

First, good luck and best wishes. Second, this shows why its important to do your due diligence before going on TRT and not just really on one test result. I'm not there yet, but if/when I get to that point I will definitely remember a lot of advice/experience from posters here.

Take every bit of advice from here as a very small grain of salt. If I had listened to some of these dudes, I'd still be trying to diet and do squats to raise my Test levels. If you feel like somethings wrong, and you know you are doing things right, go get checked out.

How did they figure out it was the pituitary gland? Blood work?

Yes. Prolactin levels were elevated. The odd thing is, the most common issue with prolactin levels is erection, which I've yet to have problems with.

Saw this thread. Don't have "Low T", but as you age, your body gets deficient in key minerals. Things like Zinc. Magnesium. Etc.
Almost hesitate to post this doctor's YouTube channel, because some of the titles might make you go "Whut"?
"The Dick Up Smoothie"!
But...
Hear me out. I was the same way initially.
She's very matter of fact on male health issues, discusses impact of time, aging, lifestyle and is actually one of the most knowledgeable people I've seen discussing men's health topics out there. I mean who talks about this stuff, right? Seriously, give a few of the videos a try on topics of interest. Also, consider finding a "functional medicine" specialist that can look at your make up holistically, do lab testing to assess your mineral deficiencies etc.
"Food is the ultimate medicine". Look into this vs. automatically punting to medicines right away. Proper diet, exercise, not smoking, alcohol in moderation (yeah, I'm not totally there yet on that one).
I've lost 14 pounds over the past few years just by watching more of what I eat, portions, exercising a lot more (trying to walk 10k steps/day or train in Krav Maga 3 times/week for 2 hours).
It can make a difference in your T an other parts of your lifestyle.

Small update. FINALLY got an MRI, took over a month just to have one scheduled. Results came in this morning, and boys, I'm even further confused. MRI results show that I have no tumor on my pituitary gland. The doctor said that because my prolactin levels are elevated, he's just going to assume that I have one that's not showing up. MRI's were taken with and without contrast.
Do any of you have suggestions of endocrinologists in the BR, Houma, New Orleans area that you would suggest? Starting to feel as if I need a second opinion.

I would get a CT or PET Scan.

Another thing is sex, you need to have a lot of sex. Have sex the night before you next test and I promise the number will be higher.
How does one do this?
