Today's WOD is just a bunch of rowing. My body is hurting, especially around my right elbow in the lower tricep. I feel like I need a rest. But I'm going to be gone all week next week so I also feel like I should go today.

go and do a lot of mobility and foam rolling and then do what you can rowing wise.


So I joined brute body today. Programming starts getting sent out the 2nd but gonna wait until after my vacation to start doing it so starting in August I will be posting in here with yall.

I ran to the OB to see that rat snake you killed.

We once had a snake in our old house. It was a garden snake. I let it live but I never mentioned it to my wife!

Exactly what I did. Got there about 20min early and rolled out all tight spots.

Rowed at an overall pace of 1:53. Goal was 1:50.

Also got some row coaching from lsualum

Leg day

front squats 2 sets at 185lbs x 3, one set at 205lbs x 3, 225lbs x 3, 235 single

then my body building leg routine

My WOD for the day

20 mins AMRAP

3 reps 225lb deadlift
10 push ups
5 toes to bar
10 air squats

everything was unbroken except the air squats by the 4th round

also newest episode of road to the games is on youtube, its an hour long

Slowed him down with longer pulls and slower recovery to keep his HR down. The goal was to maintain the same pace throughout. I think he started around a 1:48 and ended at 1:53. Hulk is over 6’ and I was trying to get him to utilize his height to his advantage on the rower.

I skipped again today to focus on lifting and let my knee recover again. Feeling a little better each day. I’ll have a fully operational battle stat... err.. LED therapy device completed some time tomorrow to mess with other the weekend.

Best average for the day was 1:41. If Underwood had done the class, he would have been in the low 1:30s. He has a 500m sprint time of ~1:16 or so. Dude cranks the shite out of the rower with his combination of size/strength: 6-3, 265 or so.

Then 30 BS @ 55% in as fewest sets as possible. Once your pace drops from start, you must rack bar and rest 1 minute.

Barbell
3x3 strict press in split (125,145,145PR)
1-1-1-1-1 Push Press+BTN Push Jerk+Split Jerk (145,155,165,175,185)
First time doing that overhead complex. Was legit.

Fran on tap for tomorrow.

Hoping to go sub 3:30 but I’ll be lucky to go sub 4:00. Thrusters will be unbroken but my pull-ups have been out of whack since Murph.

RX is with 135#
1 mile runs
10 rope climbs (instead of the pullups)
