Strength
went for a heavy double on deadlifts
got up yo 455 but didn't have anything left in the legs or in the tank for 475
Worked up to 155 double on over head press
Then every 30secs on the beep.
5 toes to bar, then alternate with 5 wall balls
10 rounds
nothing to crazy today.

Work to max squat clean. Was my first time doing squat cleans. Hit 165. Need to work on the motion. The front squat is th easy part. Getting under the bar is another thing.
Workout: 35lb dumbbells
60 single arm DB clean and jerk
50 push ups
40 alt DB squat snatch
30 HSPU (DB push press)
20 single arm DB squats
10 HSPU (DB push press)

For me, it feels the opposite. I have terrible form with just the front squat from the top (shoulder mobility issues - tend to get too far forward), but if I start out going directly to the squat I usually have better form.

Yea my last pull the bar was out front. My bicep tendon has been sore and felt it on that one. So doing all this shoulder stuff was fun with an inflamed biceps tendon.

We're doing Badger. Gunna have to use a band with pull-ups. Hate using help but I'd die with true strict and I feel ridiculous doing jumping pull ups. One day I will be able to Rx a pull-up/CTB/MU workout.... one day

We had way too many people for Daniel so we did Laredo. Some people stayed after and did Daniel.

Every two minutes for as long as you can or 40 minutes....
200m run
3 pull-ups
7 push-ups
12 air squats
I made the whole 40.....started out with about 30 seconds of rest each round and ended with :08 seconds of rest on the last round.

Alright CrossFit guys.... this was my first CF workout in months. Just wanted to see where I stood tonight after a gym bro workout so I did the following....
Squat clean ladder up to 205. Everything looked good but I did 225 and it looked like shite so I did a few more sets at 205.
WOD:
3 rounds for time
10 box jump overs (24”)
10 chest to bar pull-ups
10-7-4 (descending by round) deficit HSPU (1 foot deficit)
Time was 8:34... how is that? Am I ready to come back in the game with a time like that or do I have work to do?
