at what age did you have to cut back on your workouts

I won't admit my age but in the last year my body is telling me I'm not as macho as I used to be.
I still work out 5 days a week, but I've had to cut back on the amount of weight I lift and slow down on the treadmill.
My joints just won't let me do it anymore.

I feel like around 34 my body told me to slow down. On the job site and in the weight room. Tendinitis in my elbows, I really feel like I'm less tolerant to the heat and low energy.
I feel older than I think I should.

I'll be 35 this month and I've broken down more this year than I ever have. fricking sucks.

Dunno yet. I'm 38 and still getting better.
ETA: I feel like that came off as arrogance but I promise it's not. I'm just saying my age hasn't caught up to me yet.

34 and still going strong.
Now I definitely don’t recover as fast as I did at 24, but my workouts are just as hard.

37 and still going hard. I have to devote way more time to warming up and recovery, but my lifts are still going up.

34 and still go pretty hard regarding cardio but I might have to back off on sprints. The past three times I’ve tweaked a calf, quad, or like today a hamstring. I don’t lift super heavy any more after tearing a pec years ago but still doing a decent amount of HIIT and my body is holding up

34, and I go next week for MRI on my rotator and labrum....may be slowing down sooner than I wanted

I'll be 32 in a month but can take all that I put out. It's just time with 3 yo twins that reduces the amount I workout. I'm sure when they are a little more grown, I'll actually increase my workouts.

Its not age with me its lack of time and motivation. My target is 4 days a week. I'm lucky to get two.

I'm 45. Started running 3 years ago and started lifting 2.5 years ago. Stronger than I've ever been and I run 25 miles or do per week. Improvements/new goals are always in your grasp when you start from being an out of shape overweight 40+ year old.

I turn 38 next month. I’m cutting back starting tomorrow. I’m constantly blowing out my lower back. Time to slow it down and cut back.

+1 I'm dealing with back and shoulder issues right now. Very frustrating.

Bro I am right there with you. That shite started happening to me just this year. I even started taking turmeric to help my joints. I work out 5 days a week..... Sprinkling basketball at least once a week.
I'm 41..... and the fact that you won't disclose your age tells me you are a woman.... which is completely fine if you actually are a woman...... But for some reason I don't think you are.

I haven't now at about to be 36 but I have had more injuries this year or I should say aching pains. Mostly my fault from not watching where I am walking and hyper extending, twisting and just all around being really hard on my knees.
But overall I don't have to cut back. I already have under training phases built in anyways.

You should see a doctor. Your issue may be fixable. Vitamins or change of diet, maybe.
