What's your routine? Would like to buy a stationary bike so I can get some cardio in on my off days from the gym. Budget maybe under $1K.

Right now I'm on the bike every other day for 30-60mins.

I know we have a fitness board but figured more traffic here.

This translates to mean you know there are rules, but you are above the rules and they do not apply to you.

Absolute slap in the face to the fitness board. This is disgraceful.

I got a Kurt Kinetic Road Machine that I hook my bike to, I ride an hour every weekday morning.

I run/walk outside an hour a day weather permitting.

If OP has a bike and wants to use an indoor trainer, I've got that Kinetic Road Machine I'll sell him for cheap. I upgraded to a direct drive for my Zwift setup.

I got a Proform Carbon T10 treadmill in January with the three year iFit subscription. I do on average 3 programs a day (about 90 minutes) usually 2 incline hikes and 1 jog. Average about 25 miles per week.

The iFit program is the game changer. I would never be able to do this without the interactive training videos and live workouts. It controls the speed and incline of the machine in cadence with what the trainer is doing on their hike or run. The live workouts are the best part, for me at least being able to compete with other people around the world doing it too and seeing you smoke their assets in distance, incline, or calories burned on a leaderboard.

We have a treadmill and bike. We're old so this probably won't help but once a week run a mile then walk uphill a mile. Ride about 45-60 minutes once a week. We have a tv in front of it and put bike riding videos on. Makes it fun. This in in between GSLP days.

We also run on our hunting trails on the farm but not this time of year. We also ride our bikes outside when we can.

You will get a lot of negative comments because most people end up throwing clothes on both because they don't use them and it's true. All of the equipment in the world won't get you in the gym...needs to become a lifestyle.

I certainly enjoy my outdoor runs far more to treadmill runs, but a treadmill is not a bad alternative and can be especially useful depending on climate. I also like to use my treadmill for active rest for certain weigh training regimens.
