Looking for suggestions for a good sports watch to wear everyday. Open to any bells and whistles, simplistic designs or makes. Gshocks are massive in size but alot of what i find now are smart watches. Im open to a smart watch but the only one ive had was junk (a samsung gear v2) battery would only last a Few hours. I have a samsung phone so an iphone watch is off the board.

I received an Amazon Halo for my birthday. It's pretty neat. Tracks workouts, heart rate, calories, steps, etc. It's freakishly accurate at tracking sleep.
It does other stuff too like tracking your tone so you know how much of an a-hole you were on any given day, but I haven't set that feature up yet.
ETA: the battery life is solid too. It's waterproof but I charge it while I'm in the shower, and that's almost all I ever need. I'll give it an extra hour here and there.

It tracks and data mines everything about you. If you are interested in data security, I would not purchase.

If you don’t need GPS or Bluetooth, it’s hard to go wrong with a G Shock. Look good and last forever.

I’ve really liked Garmin 425. Stays charged for several days and while you can’t text or talk on it like Apple Watch, it will let you see who is calling and read incoming texts. I had an Apple Watch and ditched it…I didn’t need all the stuff that it had and I never used it because it constantly needed to be on the charger and I’d forget it.

Is that only a running watch? Or does it have other activities that you can track also?

Eh, too bad. I love my Apple Watch for fitness! Might be worth considering changing phones lol
Sorry I don't have a more helpful reply. GL

Thanks for the tip. Just ordered one for my wife.

I have a Garmin Venu 2 being delivered today. I have an old Garmin 225 that no longer syncs to the app. I'll try this out for 1-2 weeks and decide if I'll keep it.
I also looked at the Coros watches but I'd have to drive to Nola or BR to physically check it out.

I like my Garmin Fenix, but do not wear it all day. Throws my stats off, but I only need it to track activities.

If you don’t need anything fancy then look at a regular Timex Ironman. I’ve had mine for many years and been rough as hell on it. Time, date, stopwatch with lap counter, countdown clock. That’s all you’re going to get with it, but I love mine. I only take it off for KB cleans or snatches.

I have a couple watches
Hamilton khaki king
Apple Watch
G shock
I barely wear my g shock anymore but it’s still running on same battery for 10 years. I’ll wear it when I’m doing outdoor activities that might have impact or can’t get to battery.
Apple Watch most of the time if working out
Hamilton at work and casual non athletic wear

I have a Garmin Fenix 6 pro. It tracks run, workouts, Walk, Golf, Yoga, Bike, Hike and more. Keeps up with your heart rate, steps. Battery is fantastic. Charge, depending on use, every 7-11 days.

FTW. I've had mine for 20+ years and it's still ticking. I don't wear it everyday anymore as I alternate between a few others.
