What are you guys taking? I'm starting to get after it a little more in the gym and I'm hurting. Besides Midol and Vagisil, what do you guys advise for inflammation?

You could do 1 tylenol and 2 aleve 3 times a day for 3 days, then 2 times a day for 3 days, then once a day. See if that helps at all.

If you want to take a daily pill, you can try Tumeric.

Yeah, I'd rather do something daily like Tumeric, Fish Oil, Curcumin, etc. I've researched and there are thousands of kinds and I'm looking for some testimonials.

I tried the cold plunge idea for about two weeks. It was fricking misearable. Maybe I didn't give it enough time to reap the benefits but it didn't seem like it was worth the hassle.

Maybe don't go so hardcore with it? Like, take a regular shower, but then finish with with 2-4 minutes on cold.

Make sure you’re taking Omega-3’s.

Remove sugar from your diet. Period. It's poison. Similar thoughts about gluten-based foods. And carbonated drinks. Drink plenty of water.

Intermittent fasting is good - limit calorie intake to max 6-8 hours contiguous.

Turmeric and omega 3 helps. Matcha or green tea helps. Plenty of good sleep. A couple of aspirin at night soothes aches which you may not notice.

Got all this covered. Tumeric and Omega 3 seem to be the consensus.

Turmeric and boswellia. A few brands on Amazon sell these two herbs combined in one capsule.

Are you training for hypertrophy? If so, it's worth noting that anti inflammatory medications and cold therapy after workouts will reduce hypertrophy. If you're not looking for size gains, no worries.

In addition to what others have said, I'd also recommend a tart cherry juice (my preference is Trader Joe's) and a beet root powder supplement.
