Just got done warming up and about to hit that first set of squats.

I wanted to skip today and jump straight to the Seesaw.: lol:

Hope we do the stairway to Strongville, too.

I'm cutting these breaks down to 2 minutes and I'll probably ss Rows and shrugs like the rest of you.

These squats are going up strong.

Already at an hour and still not finished with rows. I should’ve supersetted them.

Also get to use my rep leg roller for split squats for the first time.

Tonight's gonna be a late one. I'm feeling the damage from the pressure cooker for sure. Like George mentioned happening to him earlier, I felt fine in the immediate period after finishing last night. Gradually I started to get a dull pain in my left flank/kidney, got worse and worse for several hours while I fought it with a heating pad and some tylenol.

Feels better today, but not 100%, should be no problem as long as I take it slow and stay focused. If I slip up and lose position on anything....seeya! it's all gone. Good thing today is a little lighter. I can't predict how this will go, if it even will go.

FieldEngineer I'm 5'7" and this morning weighed 264.4lbs. Trying to upload a video of my pressure cooker to youtube.....after 15 minutes it's 2% done. Hmmm, maybe I'll try a lower quality, it's just 11 minutes long.

I said frick it. I ss my first 2 sets of rows and shrugs.

Now I'm ss the last 5 sets and adding the bulgs to it. This really feels like cardio. Taking a 2 minute rest between sets.

This will be awesome or really stupid.

Pop a day of rest tomorrow and catch up Saturday. Nobody here will judge you for it.

A bunch of us are middle aged men just trying to stay in shape.

I ran the pressure cooker early and waited until late evening to hit todays workout. Needed the extra time.

You’re moving a shitload of weight, so I had to ask.

Today’s was tough. I haven’t squat or deadlift much this year due to knee pain most of the year.

Using lighter weight than last year, but using this slant board actually allows me to get a full range of motion on the squat instead of just getting passed parallel.

I believe I’m going to go up whenever we do the test to increase %

"70's Big" is in the books. I wasn't in the mood for a long arse workout tonight.

I cut my breaks down 90 seconds for the first 3 sets of back squats and then 2 minutes for the last 3 sets.

My deadlift weight was a little light, but I could tell my form was much improved.

I decided to go wild and combine the rows, shrugs, and Bulgarians in to one massive ss with a 2 minute break between sets.

I finished in 57 minutes (not counting the 15 minutes of warmups).

Tough workout and my back is pumped. Last set if Bulgarians was ugly as my quads felt like jello. I used a 30lb DB.

Day 10 in the books and after yesterday's 70s big, Seesaw was just what the Dr ordered

Really needed this session to be under an hour to make a Volleyball game tonight, and it delivered just that

I was genuinley surprised how the 90% rep went

Enjoyed the seesaw but damn all the plate changes.

Today and tomorrow are early mornings due to work so I may actually get 7-8 hours of sleep.

Seesaw done, wasn’t that bad after I got warmed up. I really like ending with the 10reps lighter weight.

Back is sore from yesterday.

It took me 70 minutes and I thought that was a long time. 6 hours is a long arse workout.

I woke up and my back is not happy with me today. Hope this doesn't last.

My back was sore when I got up this morning too. A little stretching / warmup and it seemed to shake out. Hopefully the same for you.

Weight moved pretty easy on the see saw. I must not have warmed up enough because the first set of triples at 75% felt tougher than the set of 5 at the end

I think it has more to do with me being under the weather. My 5 month old had RSV last week and I knew in due time I would catch it and here we are

Day 10 down...

I'll join the crowd on being sore today. Didn't feel sore at all yesterday, but definitely feeling it this morning. Even after warming up and stretching, it took a few sets to actually feel comfortable and loose.

The TM I'm using for squat is my actual 1RM from March. So the 1@90% today is one of the heaviest squats I've done. I've been taking my time on the descent and focusing on making sure I'm as low as possible. With that said, I felt very good with the squat. Honestly, the hardest set was the last one 10@60%.

I also pushed myself on the OHP and RDLs. I increased weight twice on OHP and left nothing in the tank. I started WAY too low on RDL and increased weight substantially on each set. I wanted to increase once more, but realized plan only called for 4 sets so I stopped there. I'll have a better starting weight next time.

Day 10 done. Was a little sore this morning but not as bad as I thought

90% went up way easier than I thought it would

Ended up super setting RDL and farmers carry to save some time for a little walk and foam roll at the end. Going in afternoon tomorrow to give a few extra hour’s recovery
