If the first read is a DE or DT it’s not an RPO it’s a read option. If you add another element to it it’s triple option even if the throw is upfield. It’s the “modern” triple option

Denbrock didn't invent the RPO triple option
Earlier in this thread?
I’ll also add that RPOs off of a zone scheme are MUCH easier to defend. Not because of the linemen but LBs can slow play it and muddy up the read
Gap schemes LBs can’t slow play because if they do you have an OL pulling into a gap that isn’t being filled now. Saban did an interview about this before he retired. Can also mix in play side and backside LB reads.
So if LSU wants to use RPOs (which any college team should) they need to invest in more gap schemes aka power/counter variations

There is no such thing as an “RPO Triple Option”….its just “Triple Option”. But instead of a backward pitch it’s a throw forward on a flat route
The only RPO where the QB runs is where he is the primary run threat…aka no handoff he’s catching the snap and running himself. Ex: QB Power to the right paired with a glance route to the right. QB reads the playside LB. If he comes up to fill pull up and throw the glance behind, if he drops keep running

re: Teal season changes - how is your club handling?

Still a little early but anyone seeing any teal around? Heading to the lease in Gueydan next weekend to check status of some of the blinds for repairs and assess brushing needs. Last year sucked but always get hopeful as the season gets closer

We have a few really fun players to watch. Jorgen Strand Larsen, Andre, Jao Gomes, Agbadou just to name a few. Lost a ton this offseason (biggest one Cunha) and haven’t really replaced with a ton
We lack quality depth and while we have quality in spots there isn’t the same level of consistency across the board as some of the bigger clubs.
Our manager is an awesome dude. Seems to love the club and we saw huge improvements when he took over.
Overall right now we are a middle to lower middle club in the PL. I could see us anywhere from 14-being relegated. But along the way I could see some big upsets as well as a run in maybe the FA cup like last year depending on the draw

Definitely not looking good. Have to take advantage of the 3-4 games after the City game and try to build up some points there. Fingers crossed for another few signings…RWB and another forward would be nice
re: What are your thoughts on Sloan going into the season?

Half of this board doesn’t know what an actual RPO is…so I’m not sure I’d take their opinions seriously when it comes to grading a college OC
I fish it about once a month. Bass and brim. Caught on frogs, cranks, and Texas rig worms. Catch and release but it’s a nice little spot
Hilltop Arboretum off highland road has a pond. Caught bass and brim in it. Caught bass on crank baits, Texas rigs, and frogs and brim on worms and a few tiny plastic baits. Never anyone out there fishing when I went either
This is purely anecdotal but my grandmother,88, about a year ago had a lot of trouble getting out of chairs. She started going to occupational therapy doing body weight stuff. Within 6 months she was doing sets of 20 air 3/4 squats. I was blown away
Fast forward about a year she falls and breaks her hip. The doctors said if she hadn’t done that OT work before she would haven probably been bed bound. About a month after she is walking up and down the hall with a walker doing PT for 2 hours. Can get in and out of bed with ease. Will be going home in hopefully another 4-6 weeks.
Never too old to get some exercise and help prevent issues even in old age!

Game at Wrigley…take the train there with all the fans. Great atmosphere and tons of bars around the stadium. Murphys Bleachers was awesome

What an incredible turn around. Gonna be interesting to see if ownership will invest and replace guys like Cunha, Semedo, and possibly Rayan Nuri
A core with JSL, Andre, Jao Gomes, Toti, Munetsi, and Agbaduo makes the midfield and backline really solid. Throw in guys like Bellegarde and R. Gomes as role players for some depth. Even though Bellegarde probably figures as more of a starter.
Definitely need some wingers and an attacker to go with JSL up front

6 in a row! Huge match next week

IMO, running alot of RPO where the QB has little to no chance of keeping the ball has a good bit to do with it.
This has to be a troll at this point

Really is an incredible turnaround. Compare how they are playing now compared to the first 10 matches of the year it’s night and day
The points and now the pints!

Saw Don Felder last year at Lauberge. Was fantastic. His backing band was great too. Would 100% see him again. Great guitar playing and better than expected vocals (probably some autotune)

JSL scoring 2 is promising! Expected result vs the opponent. Hopefully can string a few more together. But the gap we have opened makes me feel good.
That’s what I figured with Best Buy. Always gone there by default just wanted to see what else may be out there. I will check out Formosa first though. Never heard of it some looking forward to seeing what they have
Where to buy laptop in BR?

Looking to purchase a new laptop. Where are some good places for price/quality. Don’t need anything crazy…do a little gaming on it not much. Just need it for basic work stuff. I’ve always gone to Best Buy but just seeing what else is out there
