I used 40's the other day. I'll go with 50's next time, but I don't have anything heavier so that will be it.

I did 70s for 40yds, but I had just finished up arm farm with 65s x50 yds last week in a superset with deadlifts, so day 1 felt luxurious

Just finished up. Pretty fun workout. I heard a whole lot of shite popping in my back and shoulders when I was doing chins. About to go throw down some Aleve.

I should have jumped to 135lbs on my OH press, but I left it at 115lbs. I got off to a really fast pace on squats and then petered out in the middle. I picked the pace back up the last 2 1/2 minutes.

No stopping the clock

1st I got 16 sets, I did every 40s strict and squeezed in 1 extra set in last min

2nd all you guys that did 15+ sets and posted about it earlier…………my legs say frick you!!!! I was determined to keep up….legs are gonna be toast tomorrow. Nothing a little squaring can’t fix though

On farmers Carrys I use the 70lbs kettle bells, they have a fat grip so hard as hell

Dunno about y’all but my triceps are sore as hell from the close grip push-ups

All I have is the cardio left, not looking forward to it.

I purposefully only did 11 knowing we had 4 days left of squats. Trying to be smarter not knowing how the volume will be.

I'm dreading cardio tomorrow. No BS.

I probably should have gone heavier on the snatch deadlift. I may feel it more tomorrow, but they weren't as bad as I expected.

I'm glad squats tomorrow will be a little lighter. I felt like a puss at the 5 minute mark.

I thought I went too light on the cardio because the first set of 20 felt very light. Nope nope nope By the last set of 10s I was not having as much fun

I only got 10. I was at 6 sets and thought I’m hitting 14-15, by set 7 that was it. My legs were gone. I managed 3 more and called it. I did hit my initial goal of 10, I’ll take it.

I felt like a little bitch today doing cardio. My triceps were crying. By the 2nd round I was breaking the sets up into smaller mini-sets. Def overestimated the weight to use for skull crushers the first round.

ill say this

day 1- the pushups were the worst part for me

day 2- if you are using a 90% tm or lower, you can push the shite out of the squats. way more than you think. use a legit timer you can see so you can pace it and stay strict

day 3- apparently go lighter than you think on the cardio

prolly need to keep up a lessons learned from thos ahead

well boys...Day 5 dropped

initial thoughts:

#1 the squats themselves shouldnt be bad at all, same with deadlifts

#2 those rear foot elevated splits squats are prolly gonna burn like a mother fricker after doing squats

#3 supersetting the rows with the RFESS after deadlift and squats sounds like our lower backs are going to be screaming.

Cardio is pretty traditional PPSA if you have done the other programs. loves to combine carries with arms in some form of a superset.

For the warm up, should we just do some super sets with those or?

yea you super set them or "complex" them as he calls it there. do a round, rest a little, do a 2nd, rest a little and continue until you feel you are fully warmed. in the other programs its usually 3 rounds.

love this idea! Maybe we get George to add it to Page1?

by the 3rd round I couldn't use my 45lb barbell and had to use KBs to finish out the reps. Holy shite that was a lot of skullcrushers

That cardio must’ve been inspired by Arnold’s “shock the muscles” speech. Cause after skullcrushers and close grip push-ups, my triceps were NOT expecting more skullcrushers!

After coming from rehabbing a back injury and not squatting, all summer, to once a week in Arm Farm, to this, my legs are also being shocked by getting under the bar 3 out of the last 4 days. They felt good by the end of the 4x7 sets at least. Tomorrow looks like it will destroy me.
