I think I would have to go with Mystic Creek.

Firestone South two days after the WGC event. It’s a shame the WGC/PGA left it. Great venue

I haven't played many famous courses, so I would say
1) Raven in Sandestin
2) Lost Key in Orange Beach
3) Oakbourne CC

Blackwolf Run, The River Course was pretty tough the day I played it.

The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island.

I find all of those courses to not be near as tough as people say.
Atchafalaya from the tips on a windy day is a beast.

Mystic Creek
LaCantera Palmer Course is a beast from the tips
Here’s a view of #18 approach shot at the Palmer course

Lost Key back when I had a lot of trouble with slicing
There's not forgiving a mishit on that course

Lol... no lie, Uclub from the Tiger Tees. Guess I need to branch out more

Never played there but I've heard the same. I think it's the longest course in LA from the tips?

Oak Harbor with a 30 mile an hour wind in 2003

Ocean Course at Kiawah, no question. Wind was absolutely whipping that day, too.
Chambers Bay would be #2, I think. The funny thing is that course normally plays 180 degrees different than it did in the U.S. Open there - it is usually wet, soft, and cool and plays incredibly long up and down the plateau.
River Course at Blackwolf is up there, too. I thought that course was way harder than Whistling. The greens there are absurd.

Answer depends a lot on the set of tees you play and the conditions when you played but around here I’d say I’d say:
Mystic Creek, El Dorado Arkansas
Tempest, Gladewater Texas

I played Torrey Pines South from the PGA Tour tees during the run up to the US Open. They had already tightened down the fairways to about 20 yards and grown in the kikuya rough to about 4 inches. The greens were running about 13.
I was about a 10 hcp at the time. I hit the ball well that day. Zero penalty strokes. I shot 108.

Bethpage Black
Shot 74 from the blues (back) except for #3, #8, & =#17 due to the boxes being worked on.
Hardest walking round I've ever played, was exhausted in NYC the next day.

Maybe it was the scenery or being too excited, but Pebble Beach kicked my butt both times I played there. Number six, eight, nine, ten, thirteen, fourteen, and seventeen ate my boudin. Spyglass Hill is supposed to be much tougher, but I scored much better there than Pebble.
