I recently switched to a regular flex and am struggling with consistency, can’t figure it out.

Is it in my head or something else

I was playing a Regular and hit it well but would occasionally lose a ball right.

Went to a Stiff and I probably lost a few yards but I feel like I am hitting it straighter and more consistently.

I am still carrying the other shaft around in my bag and am hoping to get some time on a launch monitor so I can compare them head to head. Being able to screw the shaft on and off is amazing.

I just traded my regular in for a stiff at 2nd swing and was killing it in the simulator.

Doing a fitting will really open you eyes too. Different brands have different metrics of what a stiff or regular is. It is pretty crazy seeing how big of a difference the shaft makes with the same head. The launch profile and torque makes a huge difference

100 mph at 56. Stiff Denali, can't square a regular. High hooks all day

X-stiff. Just because that is what is in it. 65 years old and it is too stiff for me I’m sure. Was probably too stiff 10 years ago (still using same driver) and I’m too lazy and cheap to change the shaft or buy a new driver.

Glad to see TD bullshite carries over to this board too. Multiple posters claiming 115-120 when the Tour average is 113. Dudes in here hitting 305 carry.

Ventus Black 6S. 105 absolutely max clubhead speed, probably a bit slower on most swings.
