I’m 46 and typically cruise at 105-107 with driver and top out in the 112ish range if I’m trying..
I’m currently on a quest to add 10 + mph to my regular speed .. I’d like to think I’d be able to reach that 115ish range in the next 6 months ..

Stiff. Could prob go to x stiff, but I play for fun so just use equipment how it comes. 123 mph swing speed.

One brands regular flex is another brands stiff,is another brands A flex! Would be best if you could get fitted.

66 yrs old, Newton 3 dot shaft which is about the same flex as most regulars. Love the shaft, easy to hit fairways and I get a little more distance than I did with the Ventus I had in it.

Even though it doesn’t fit your speed, it’s likely due to the steepness of your swing, etc.

I'm probably in similar speed range, maybe getting up to 110 on big swings and agree with the lighter shaft, the x just helps minimize misses.
In a Ventus blue 6X, coming from a Denali blue 6S. Realize the profiles are a bit different but I could hit some absolute bombs with the denali stiff when things worked out but the misses were huge.
in the x now, I'm really just either pulling or pushing shots on bad swings, don't feel like i've got the big lefts/rights and can always feel my path issues much easier than a stiff shaft.

This is me too. I have the same shaft tipped an inch @ 44.5". I've lost no distance and the ball just doesn't curve.
Mini driver has the Ventus Blue 6x and 7 wood has the Red 7x, both tipped an inch.
I have no business in these shafts, but they've been the best option for my swing and I have no desire to change at this point.
