Bought one for my dad last year for Christmas. He uses the hell out of it. The fact it has a slope reading is really handy compared to my watch and it’s nice to use to check distance on a good drive.
I would buy a bright color though. He has left his stuck to the cart at least twice and had to turn around and go back to retrieve it.

do you think the Pro is worth the extra cost? I’m trying to decide between the base mlm and the Pro.
If you are just interested in basic data points on the range then I would say the mlm is plenty, but if you have any inclination to set up a sim or hit into a net then absolutely go mlm2pro instead.
I’ve logged over 15k shots on my mlm2pro in a little over a year. If hitting into a inclosure you definitely want the pro for the spin data with the RPT balls for accurate ball flight. Without a spin reading any of the low end launch monitors are going to show you hitting a pretty straight ball just push or pulled into a net because it only has 10-12’ for the camera to track the flight before impact. When in actuality with an accurate spin reading you may be draw or fading it back around. You also get AOA and club path with the 2pro over the original.
I find the Rapsodo to be the most accurate in comparison to trackman numbers of any of the offerings beneath the GC3.
Now if you are strictly looking for an indoor or net setup for sim golf and do not need the behind the ball setup for Right/left handed golfers I’d recommend the Square LM. Less space needed with a beside ball LM, no yearly membership, and has putting.

Are you asking about the mlm or the mlm2 pro? Because you’ve got answer directed towards both.
If the mlm2 pro is what you are asking about I can give you a pretty thorough review.

I play the 925Forged. Got no complaints other than I wish I would have got fitted about three weeks later because that’s when they released the S3’s and I’d have liked to have tested those too.

Most likely but that makes Chop’s out of the way.
Teddy should take him back to his roots for a 6hr round at Vieux chene

Ask his opinion on Slopegate and tell him to get some cracklins from Chops on his way to Le Triomphe

Call of Duty Kill confirmed. Watched all 6 last night. I enjoyed it a lot, but I also pretty much like anything feudal Japan. It’s wild how fast their civilization was brought into the modern age after the Meiji restoration.

Agree with this if they balance it with a few better golfers.
In all fairness to their roster JR Smith was supposed to be there in Lacy’s place and would have added another sub 5 GHIN player. But then again half the people there’s handicap is as truthful as a used car salesman.

Mo was living in a grey area the whole tournament. The creek ball, the running to mark his partners putt that was barely stopped, the range finder(which was definitely reading slope). Running down to the greens on the par 3 course telling Paige where to aim etc. I mean I get it that’s a lot of money on the line but damn bro there are 75 cameras and a whole caravan of people following you.

I was a kid when I went and not yet playing golf but Banff is absolutely beautiful and another vote for the Fairmont.

It doesn’t matter. Brads team is going to wax them in Alt shot final.

That was what I use to do too, but figured out that was hurting my game with the wedges. Game improved slightly after that but consistency suffered some rounds.
I’m up for trying anything. I made a triple on a hole today that I was only 60yds out on after my tee shot.
Bomb, shank, blast across the green, duff, good chip, two putt. Couldn’t decide if I should cry or laugh.

We are in the same club speed window. As much fun as the 17° is to hit it really leaves to big of a gap beneath it and it’s not quite long enough to replace my 3w. I think the 19° newest version is in my future because I love the club. Can definitely see it filling in for my 3w though when I have the inevitable spells were it just refuses to cooperate.

Have you experimented with a longer shaft
I have not. I generally go the complete opposite direction and choke way down if I’m up close around the green.

I definitely need to deploy the toe down more when things are going bad. I’ve used it before by getting closer to the ball and having the shaft more vertical but always with a modified putting stroke. I’ve never actually tried to manipulate the ball flight toe down.
Steep vs Sweep chipping

As the season winds down I’ve come to the realization that I have got to do something about my pathetic green side game over the winter. I’m bleeding strokes like a stuck pig inside of 30 yards. I’ve experimented with almost every style of chipping the internet offers this summer(probably why I’ve developed no consistency) and have yet to find a style that really clicks. My local track is predominantly elevated greens so just bumping and running something up only really works from the front. Beginning of the summer I was actually chipping really well and for almost two months was averaging one chip in a round. But like Icarus I flew to close to the sun and now I chip like I have epilepsy.
What are some tips or tricks that have helped y’all’s short games the most. Because if I duff another chip short of the green I’m liable to commit seppuku.
InB4 *hit more GIR.

Part 3 just proves Chaz is the best golfer there not named Brad or George. Also losing to a team with the freaking Duke should ban you from being in golf content.

*Update if Anyone cares
Ups delivered my 17° UW I ordered from Callaway preowned to test. Unfortunately they didn’t send me the first Gen version I ordered and instead sent the 2024 model that isn’t as highly regarded. Initial testing shows good ball speed(average of 155) and a mid launch that falls between a hybrid and my 3w that I hit to low. Spin rate in the mid 3000s. Ball wasn’t carrying as far as I would have expected on my launch monitor so that was a little disappointing but I walked outside and tee’d one up to hit out over my pond into about a 15mph wind directly into my face. It cut through the wind extremely well while steadily gaining height as it disappeared. If it flys like that on the course I’ll find a spot to fit it in the bag even it requires me to remove my 3w.
I can definitely see the appeal of this type of tweener club and will take it to the course tomorrow to see exactly how it performs. Definitely noticed right away that it doesn’t want to go left on me like most hybrids do.

I enjoyed it but there are definitely some personalities in the YouTube golf sphere that I can’t stand. (Riggs,DOD, Micah morris and after this video Luke K) and of course the guys who have no business being there(The Duke, sketch).
Most impressive thing to me was Chaz(the midget) and his swing. Half pint produces a suprising amount of speed and distance for someone with such little leverage and a us kids set of clubs.
