Played 18 yesterday and sweat from my stomach and chest drained down to my crotch. It looked like I pissed myself!
Does tucking a shirt help? Any shorts brand not absorb like this?

You don't tuck your shirt in? Shame on you.

Ha. Right! Is that why we do that??

This is actually one of those threads I’m ok with Mingo having a field day with.

Always tuck my shirt in. Doesn't help in this case though.

It was this active banana republic shirt polo I got. Taking out of summer rotation.

I wear dry fit shirts, shorts, and boxer briefs and they're all 3 all soaking wet after a round in the summer.

Wear dry fit shirt man.
Bro, I played Ellendale Froday afternoon wearing dri-fit everything and took a Robinul tablet. No wind, high humidity and a heat index around 100… I’d have been less wet had I jumped in the pool after the round.

I get it too. Tucked or untucked, various different underwear fabrics, doesn't matter. By hole 3 I'm full on piss pants. By hole 9 every inch of clothing is drenched so it's less noticeable.
It's not even a fatty thing for me. It has gotten worse as I've lost weight.

Dump water on the rest of yourself so it all looks the same.

Eliminate cotton from your summers.

My regular golf groups call it "swamp arse".
Tuck it. Untuck it. Dri-Fit. Cotton. Naked. It doesn't matter. Play golf in this humid, hot, beautiful area we call The South, and by 88 degrees and 60%+ humidity, you have a developing case of the swamp arse.
If we go eat afterwards, we all feel like we sat down after putting on wet swim trunks that you took off two hours ago.

Yea. I ran into the grocery store and immediately my entire crotch area was freezing.
I was hoping y’all would tell me there was some secret shirt that helped.
I’m gonna get dark color shorts ASAP.

Can’t say that I’ve ever had that, but I’ve sweated through clothing many times. Usually the seat of the pants. Sure you didn’t forget to shake enough at the bathroom break on the turn? Are you the only one who looks like this? Certainly others are sweating as profusely. As such, who cares?

Get a “clothing fitting.”
Although nothing will work, you can get some “dry fit, moisture wicking” gear. I even have “performance” underwear. When it’s 100 degrees with high humidity, nothing will work.
Wear lighter shades like white, khaki, etc.
