Aside from slow play.

My uncle and dad are keen to say “he hits it good when he hits it.” Referring to a low iron usually. Annoys the shite out of me.

Filling divots and fixing ball marks.

I also don’t like the 16 HC giving me swing advice on the 2nd hole because he watched a 5 minute segment on the golf channel and now thinks that gives him insight into how to get me to hit every fairway and green. That goes for all advice mid round. It’s not the range and I wouldn’t listen to what you say there either.

Slow play is my biggest gripe. I suck at the game but I move quick when someone is behind me. I don't know why others can't do the same

The guy that starts his pre shot routine when its finally his turn. Check his range finder, then go to his bag and decide which club to choose. Then stand behind the ball and look at his shot shape. Three to four practice swings and finally hit. Same guy walking the green and checking the line on both side of the hole only to three putt. And yes fixing divots on the green. I usually fix mine and several others.

People who leave broken tees on the tee box. At least throw it towards the tee marker.

The classic "good putt" as it reaches the hole. It has a 75% chance to break out of the hole when someone says that.

It's a huge tilter when I'm not playing well.

Also, it annoys me that some people can't tell the difference between slow play and "slower than me" play. I get the slow play argument, but if someone isn't over the top with it there's nothing wrong with taking your time.

It annoys me when I shoot in the 70s a couple times and think I'm figuring out golf just to go out and throw up a 95 and have zero clue what I'm doing different.

This happens

just to go out and throw up a 95

Because you

have zero clue what I'm doing different.

On topic... players not ready to hit when it's their turn. You should probably be behind the ball ready to move up at address when it's your turn.ESPECIALLY if your handicap is above say...5

Players like him who know very little about the game, have zero etiquette in addition to a general disrespectful disposition. They go out and shoot 93, but hit two drives over 300 and call it a good day, all from 6400 yards.

People who think they’re tour level players and offer unsolicited advice. I get it I’m a hacker, but I’m not needing some random guys advice mid round.

ETA: what makes it worse is they think righty fixes help me when I’m a left handed player except in tee box and fairway
