I only have a couple. One is the guy who complains about his poor lies he continues to get in the rough. Well sir, it's not the fairway so it's not supposed to be a great lie. The other is way worse for me. The guy who takes you shot by shot of his round afterwards. My dad and my buddy do this a lot. I het the ol' I was 1 over through 14 and ended up with an 83. First hole I killed my tee shot and hit it to 12 ft. two putted. Then I hit a good tee shot down the right hand side.....I DO NOT CARE!!!!!

What annoys me about some courses:

Un-level tee box with out a flat area
Distance of tee box is way off
Hit a playable shot and your ball magically disappears for some frigin reason
Greens that are like speed bumps

Casino chip markers
Assholes that stand right behind you while I'm putting.

#8 at Links on the Bayou in Alexandria is like this and it confounds me. Worse even, is that it tilts towards the water, which forces you to have the ball above your feet.

I guess y’all simply mean the bigger markers since not all look like casino chips. I have a few. If I’m in someone’s line, I use the smaller one in my divot tool. Otherwise, why do you care?

If it's not in my line of sight I really don't care.
Outside that they suck bc they're distracting when you can see them.

Do you feel the same way about random leaves that you can see? What if they move a little? Is your round suddenly ruined because a piece of metal the size of a silver dollar is marking a ball 5 feet on the other side of the hole?

Groups that spend 20min in the clubhouse at the turn then get pissed that you jumped in front of them on the tee at 10.

I don't mind bigger coins and don't get distracted by the poker chips, I just think that the big colorful poker chip type markers (since that's what we were discussing) are unnecessary and obnoxious.

I've started to collect them. I pick up at least one from every trip I take and course I play. I don't have many because I'm really just getting started. I don't know what makes them obnoxious. Where is your size line drawn? Is a quarter to big? A nickle? Are you mad unless everyone uses a dime? Or is that too shiny for your delicate eyes?

I actually prefer quarters and nickels and think dimes are too small for my liking personally. If you recall nobody said it was a size thing we just don't like "casino chip" markers meaning the markers that look like casino chips. You made it about size which I assume you do a lot compensating for other areas where your marker may not be as big as other players'.

The thread is called 'shite that annoys you' not 'defend the shite you do that annoys other people'

People who care about someone stepping in your thru line... or even in you actual line for that matter. You think nobody in the history of whatever course you're playing has stepped in that line at some point? It isn't going to effect your shot!
