1) Disrespect for repairing ball marks, divots, and driving carts in "marked off" areas and/or almost on the tee box or green when the cart path is 15-20' away.
2) Deliberate slow play by all players (good players included)
3)Players who begin to take their first step toward their ball while I'm in my backstroke of a putt.

I just use the one that has magnet on my divot tool

I seem to lose it in my pocket , plus when it's hot sweat hard to get hand in and out sometimes

How close are people standing to you when you putt?

I did, because it's a shite that annoys ME thread. I didn't say you can't have 6 beers. I'm referring to frickers that try and drink a beer a hole and as the round progresses they become belligerent, need to piss every 5 minutes and have to tell everyone how fricked up they are. Then they wonder why they aren't hitting it well.

All I can say is I'm sorry that you're so easily annoyed by other people when their actions don't have any bearing on you or your own game. Must suck to live life so dependent on others to provide happiness for you.

The feebleness of the golfer's mind is something that astounds me. Someone taking a single step will alter the result of your stroke? If so, then you aren't focusing on the point of contact enough.

You do realize it's ok to move leaves huh?

Fact that you would equate some big arse chip to leaf is stupid.
And you know it.
They're about the same size except one actually moves.

Plus I'm not sure where you play, but majority courses I go leaves are only a problem certain times of the year.
The point is that they're out of your control. And so is someone else's ball marker that's literally a quarter inch too wide for your liking.

Plus only people I've seen use them are 20 handicaps who in turn are annoying bc of the fact they suck at golf.
What an anecdote... I can play that game. I know multiple scratch and plus golfers who use them. I use them. I'm currently a 6.

Playing with a sloppy drunk does affect me. I was just replying to you asking who said shite canned. No I don't like playing with a guy more worried about drinking beer than playing. I don't want to be all super serious and have a few, but when it leads to belligerent behavior, their actions do have an impact on my game. It takes the fun out of the round.

Do it all the time but don’t have to tell how fricked up I am, don’t get belligerent, and don’t wonder why I’m playing bad lol

Haha we need to go play one day!! Turn up the music, shotgun a few cold cans and show these baws how to relax and have fun on the course

Not likely at all, tbh. Maybe some drives go that far...I assume that is the average.

I know a decent amount of people who can put the ball 285 off the tee on average with a driver. I'm probably 10 yards shorter than that, but I'll play with friends who out drive me routinely.

It’s all about who collects at the end of the day, I don’t see anywhere on the scorecard where driving distance matters or equates into the score you write down.

Oh for sure. I was really just responding to the guy who said there's no way Tipton drives the ball 285 and I was saying I know plenty of guys who do that. Unfortunately, they all tend to beat me too

Again, all I can say is I'm sorry that you're so easily annoyed by other people and their actions. Must suck to live life so dependent on others to provide happiness for you. I fail to see how another's actions dictate how you hit the ball. Last I checked you could tell that person to play ahead of you or just skip a hole to get away from them. Sounds like a you problem...

You're being a little hypocritical here. You agreed that people who throw tantrums and don't seem to enjoy golf at all are annoying. I could see how a sloppy drunk could fall into that category. They make it difficult to enjoy the round whether it's the guy who can't stop complaining about everything or the guy who's so drunk he's lost some golf etiquette: talking loudly during swings. Not paying attention to when it's his turn. Of course, I've never played with someone that drunk like BHO is describing. I don't have trashy friends.

I digress a little. I may have answered earlier in this thread a bit differently than I should have. Playing with a player that complains a lot, doesn't necessarily annoy me, I just don't understand that mentality. It makes no sense to me.

I don't let it affect the way I enjoy my day, just the way that I judge them. If it were to get to the point where it had an effect on my game or my enjoyment thereof... then I would either move up a hole or back a hole. To this point that hasn't happened. Most times I just laugh under my breath at the ridiculousness of their actions. I assume that BHO could do the same with his partners that like to imbibe...
