I never cared either way to be honest with you not sure why you are suggesting I did.

It’s really weird how a player from LIV wins a major, the first one and somehow this is a win for LIV. I doubt Bryson is crediting LIV for anything at all. This whole LIV and pga battle between fans is real weird and pathetic.

LIV is a joke. They have a couple good players that have miraculously been able to maintain their form while playing goofy golf. It surprises me how many people on this board are cool with an American institution and league in the PGA tour being taken over by a foreign investment fund. Not sure we’d see quote the same reaction if they tried to buy the NFL.

That’s great. I’m not saying to boycott Saudi. My point is I’m confused why anyone in this country would pull for Saudi to be successful at anything they do. Everything they believe in is diametrically opposed to everything you believe in.
Im not a huge fan of the pga or of the USA government in its current state. I just can’t understand why the pga is so hated. If we make a list of questionable things each entity (pga and Saudi) has done do you really think it’s even close?

At the end of the day LIV is averaging about 200-300k viewers per tourney, while the WNBA is almost 500k. It's been several years now and it still sucks eggs

Is this the standard we’re holding LIV to? One golfer was competitive in the tournament so LIV is great?
Bryson’s been great. He and Sergio were the only LIV players to finish in the top 20 in this tournament. That doesn’t really lead me to believe the leagues are equal in terms of talent.

Hahahahahahaha yeah Paul Casey, charles Howell, and Anirban Lahiri really helped him prepare. This is the dumb shite people can’t stand. Liv had nothing to do with the win yesterday. Bryson has been really good. Safe to say him and maybe Brooks are the only ones who have been. But they were that before LIv. Why are you making this about Liv? This is the shite that is so weird.

I guess you got me here, but I don’t think the average American golf fan could tell you who David Puig is much less how his game improved.
Which is kind of his point I believe. Bryson has gone to a different level while the Cam Smith’s, rahm’s, DJ’s, etc have regressed.

Brooks, who never cared for anything other than majors
And
Bryson, who is a maniac that lives for golf and plays more than anyone
Other than that, nobody else has won. And this year specifically liv has not done well in majors as a whole. I don’t think LIV fans would want to use the majors as a rallying cry for liv and it’s worth
