The first vehicle segment was pretty bad. On rails motorcycle chase. They could have just kept that a cutscene. The interactive elements don't add much.
I tried to keep it on the road mostly but it was pretty easy for Logan to bounce around like pinball and there didn't seem to be any consequence for doing so.
Combat feels a little generic, but they tried to incorporate parrying and some mobility/dodging. I hope that there is some more enemy variety. So far it's mostly just Trask grunts of various shapes and sizes.

I feel like some of the clips I've seen have been hyperbolic and overblown critiques, but it does just feel like a generic action game so far. I used to be a little more sensitive to culture war shite but I have started to care a little less with time. Too much grifting and too much negativity. I'm tired of that shite.
Nothing has made me raise an eyebrow yet in terms of "wokeness". Mad TV lady being unnecessarily added in as Callisto probably didn't need to happen, but she's par for the course at this point in terms of narratively driven 'cinematic' stuff especially for Sony studios.
I think the webslinging, open world, and traversal elements added quite a bit to spiderman and the lack of those elements in exchange for a linear experience with less mobility in the form of Logan's moveset exposed some flaws in current Insomniac design philosophy.
I'm not put off by anything yet, but a system seller this is not.

"Woke" isn't even a dealbreaker for me. A woke game can still be good, with effective writing.

Sony is not publishing any of their games to PC anymore, precisely because they are desperate for marks who will cave and buy their shite console for a couple of mid exclusive games.

That is the problem with more than just the games industry. One could argue that employers bare some blame in this mentality. I believe that they do, but as a millennial, I also feel that in general there is something fundamentally lacking in my generation and beyond.
This kind of seems like the perfect game to play like a week before GTA 6
