This isn't comic, nor even movie(s) canon. They've created their own universe by moving things around, so while a certain character may exist their entire history can be different.

Damn, come home from work and my YT feed is full of people crashing out over this game.
I haven't watched any of the videos, but they are coming from all across the spectrum.
Anyone else seeing this?

Last I heard he was calling out people for saying Supergirl was going to be bad, as being super bigots or some such. . .then made a video begging people to go see it.
It was super wierd.
Never bothered to see if he had to eat crow over that disastrous failure
ETA: First couple seem to agree that gameplay is "one-button, run forward" style of linear . . .still loaded with "yellow paint" type of handholding

Every "Sony" game is exactly the same at this point.
Third person over the shoulder camera
Action/Adventure genre
As much or more movie than game, lotta painfully slow "story" moments where we learn about the protagonists past and demons, blah blah
Lotta forced walking/talking segments with NPC's
Almost all the development time spent on animations, voice acting, motion capture, story
Extremely hand holdy, constantly telling you where to go and what to do at all times
All the "big" set pieces are completely on rails, bombastic over the top presentation sizzle with almost no real gameplay
Couple "hide in the grass" stealth sections
This type of game isn't by default bad exactly, it brought a new type of experience to the table when it was fresh, but it's just extremely tired at this point. People talk about soulslike fatigue frequently these days, but my fatigue is this Sony studio template.
As best I could tell most people were clowning on this ridiculously awful "chase" sequence which was basically quintessential fake gameplay.

They’re called MOOVIE games.
You walk slowly while characters talk about feelings.
Then you watch cutscene and get excited for next cutscene.
Don’t forget to press R2 to continue cutscene.
The genre existed for a bit before The Last of Us, but the success of that game is where the genre mutated into the MOOVIE game virus that has plagued gaming ever since.

This game looks like the spiderman games just with added gore. Im not huge on those type of games but spiderman was still fun to play because webslinging through the city as well as using webs against enemies is actually fun.
If i wanted to hack people apart with button combos id probably just play god of war 2018 for the 4th time over this.

Madripoor Wolverine was peak
He only loses his complexity when he is jn a team-up or a team title. Then he becomes single-note, single-purpose.
After seeing the Sentinel boss fight compared to the Sentinel fight from 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", I think they just took a generic GoW game and skinned it with Marvel.

Man that is a horrendous representation of Psylocke. Reminds me of how Netherrealm butchered all their female characters in MK1.
