Where would you like the next Fallout to be set?

I'm thinking they have to go New York or somewhere in NE next. The link attached is saying the rumor is Boston.

BTW, the comments about Detroit are pretty good.

It seems that a big part of Fallout is the whole part of seeing things that you recognize. DC was perfect for that.
Not sure other than Fenway if I would recognize anything in Boston.

NOLA
I was thinking about that.
There are still people that would take offense to seeing NOLA devastated even in a fictional setting.
Hell there was some grumblings about DC being nuked when Fallout 3 came out.
NOLA is recognizable and I think would be interesting.

NOLA is also tiny and without landmarks recognizable to people outside of LA.

Just downloaded Fallout 3 GOTY edition on Steam for $11.

Landmarks wouldn't be the issue in Nola, and isn't it a similar size to Vegas?
they're starting to run out of cities with great landmarks

Detroit could be cool but I would love Chicago.
ETA:
Watch Dogs takes place in Pittsburgh. That seems really interesting.
Just no LA, NYC, Boston or Miami.

NOLA would be the easiest to recreate. Wouldn't even need imagination.

As long as it is done by the people who did New Vegas, it would be nice to see a foreign locale.
Africa or Europe.

it's already flat, boring, and dirty.
what's Fallout going to add to the environment, more dirt, smog, cloudy skies?
I can't name a single building besides the Pyramids that anyone would even recognize?
"Ohh look over there, another hut made from sticks and mudd...."

I'm fairly certain Africa is probably in the same state that it was before the war.
I don't see them being a target in the nuclear exchange between the USA and China. Maybe a few stray warheads, but not much.
As far as locations, I don't really care so long as it's fun to mess around in. Boston and Chicago are referenced on occasion in the newer games, so I wouldn't mind trying either of those.
I haven't heard anything about the condition of Louisiana in the fallout universe, so I wouldn't complain about NOLA but that one seems like a longshot IMO.

if Africa ever catches a stray nuclear warhead, I fully expect that our great government in the States here will be donating about 90% of my paycheck to disaster relief.

Well, the good news about a nuclear war is that the smoldering crater that was once D.C. would be ill equipped to generate tax revenue.
Granted, most of us would be dead, so it's probably a wash.

I actually agree with Roaad. I want to see what happened in the rest of the world for once, can be DLC or a whole game, just want to see it.

I'd rather see Fallout Detroit. I mean, then they could release it quicker because they'd stick pretty close to their source imagery.

For this reason, I think a European country could work well.
