I hate story. I just want to play the game. It interrupts gameplay, I don’t care about story 99% of the time I end up skipping it as much as possible. Games with lots and lots of dialog bother me.
As much as I love a game like GTA V I skip as many cut scenes as I can.

I have no interest in watching streamers of any game and there are way too many of them.

FPS is by far the worst genre of gaming

Zodiac Age is much better, but I still have no idea how/why obtaining specific pieces of gear somehow teaches me special abilities or grants me additional stat bonuses.

I think the push for a more open, larger world is a complete waste of time.
It hurts far more than it helps and I count the amount of times on a single hand that it's be done well in a video game.

The Last of Us was at best an above average survival horror game. There was nothing remarkable about it whatsoever and is easily the most overrated game of all time.

It's people like you that have ruined video games. Go read a book or watch a movie. Games are games. Games are supposed to involve winning and losing.
Edit: this is probably an overly harsh thing of me to say particularly in a thread where people are supposed to be sharing somewhat edgy opinions. So you'll have to forgive my nerd rage. It's just sort of a hot-button issue for me.

I can't help but to be impressed by how amazing the world is.
But they made some weird design choices that flat-out make the game less fun. Realism to the point of tedium is present in some places.

Have to agree.
I played Chrono Cross first b4 Trigger, so that was probably why I feel like I do. Cross is just about the perfect JRPG IMO.
