In order.. Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, N64, Gameboy Adv, PS2, Wii, PS3, Xbox One, ???,

... could be either a Switch or Series X. Not stoked on PS5 like I was for the PS2 and 3. Heavy majority of the pals are on box (some pc) vs PS4/PS5.

N64-PS1-PS2-360-XBONE-PS5

Swapped from ps to Xbox in hs to play halo with friends and took a big break from gaming for years after. Bought the xbone when Witcher 3 hit and got back into gaming.

Switching back to PS with the PS5. As I get older the less I like to play online with people yelling in my ear and would much rather get lost in an epic rpg, which PlayStation has all the exclusives to. Once it was announced FF16 would be a PS5 exclusive it was an easy choice. Thanks for all the good times Xbox

Posted on this last week. I’ve had an embarrassing number of systems. Gonna get both XSX and PS5. Why change now

NES
SNES
N64/PS1
GC/PS2
Wii/PS3
PS4
Switch/PS5 (don't own either yet, will eventually own both)

In other words I've always gotten both the Nintendo and PS console each generation, with the exception of the WiiU, which I passed on (along with everyone else).

NES
Sega Genesis
Sega CD
Sega 32X
N64
Sega Dreamcast
Nintendo Gamecube
Xbox 360
Nintendo Wii
Xbox One
Nintendo Switch
PC

With all of the Xbox games essentially going to PC, I feel like I have no reason to have one of the new consoles for the first time in a long time.

Will get the Series X first then PS5 and then whatever Nintendo puts out. If most of your mates are on the Xbox platform then it is very hard to pass up on the Series X and Game Pass combo.

Will probably get a Series x then a ps5 so I can play exclusives on both.

I can’t remember well but I think:

Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis - N64 - PS1 - PS2 - Xbox - Xbox 360 - PS3 - PS4

And somewhere near the beginning the original Gameboy, Sega GameGear, Gameboy Color. I also had a GameCube.

Wii/DS/Xbox 360
Wii U
Switch/X1

Haven't decided on the X yet as I've been playing more PC, but there's a chance I get one.

I was a major PC gamer in the middle of the eras as well, but I didn't play much again until the last 2 years.

I mean, I didn’t make the choice for the early ones, but it went

Atari
NES
SNES
N64
PS2
PS3
Xbox One
Switch
Xbox Series S

I go with Xbox now because of the backwards compatibility
