Wasn't sure of how that went. Damn, looks like we are SOL on a SP KoToR.

guy from bethesda tweeted back to me, that they haven't given the keys out yet, some time next month.

i asked, because my beta key for skyrim went to spam folder. And wondered if that might of happened again.

So I'm too lazy to look it up. How do they plan to differentiate tso from wow?

Ain't no body got time for that.

Levels are not the most important factor.

No classes, you make your guy your way

Exploration is a really big deal

You have a say in the realm's ruling faction

guild castles, and thus guild sieges with catapults and such

The only MMO I ever played that got the whole idea of player controlled stuff was Galaxies. Why the devs have not figured that out I have no idea. Just because SOE destroyed the game does not mean it did not work

player control means less opportunity to nickel and dime you.

I'm excited about this, I've never played an MMO before but from what I've heard there is plenty to be done even if you just want to play a single player game. From what I can glean from those who have played it already it has the feel of an ES game.

couple questions about this game, sorry if they are dumb.

Is this game like Skyrim?

Is it for PC only?

It'll cost you a monthly fee. That's the only reason why I won't play it.

Maybe I read something wrong but seems like the guild castles mentioned earlier in the thread are only in instanced siege areas and your guild is assigned one to defend. Maybe I read that wrong but that sounds stupid as shite. All I want is an mmo with player run cities/crafting/economy that is totally open world. Give me a reason to defend this city/castle

No, there are cries for a legit followup to Bioware's KOTOR, not Obsidian's sorry excuse for a sequel.

Since this is the official thread please mark your spoilers clearly since some will play earlier than others.

I don't think calling the second game a "sorry excuse" counts as a spoiler.

With that said, it's actually a decent game on its own, just not when compared to the original.
