This game is weird. I had a 73-74 LT that when doing position changes, turned into a 94 TE that had a 76 speed. I mean, I moved him to get the stat bump, but this can't be intended.

I feel like blocking definitely has an inflated effect on ratings for tight ends. I had a similar scenario when my OT had a big ratings bump at TE. I looked at the dude's catch rating out of curiosity, and it was only a 50. That's gonna be a no from me, dawg.

I've recruited MLBs in consecutive seasons with 95 speed.

Meanwhile, I can’t seem to find a RB with speed over 92/93

Had my first legit loss last night (I was 16-1 but the 1 loss is when my GF was fricking with me while I was playing causing me to throw a pick 6, I lost by 3 )

Isaiah Bond Corner Route. I could never stop it even if I user covered him. shite is deadly.

Corner routes are always interesting. Not all of them are created equal.

Which team you using?

Man, some of you will complain about anything. First you have to check more ratings than just speed and awareness to find why his overall is that, especially when it comes to tight ends.

I did check more ratings than speed and awareness. I mentioned that in my post then another poster said to check the blocking ratings which I did and he was correct. So yea I didn’t necessarily go to the blocking ratings the first time. It was just odd that a slow blocking tight end jumped that much in overall rating

Second, what would be realistic about being able to increase speed? Real players don't suddenly just become a lot faster in the off-season. If anything this game has too many generated players coming in with insane speed as it is. It's not hard to find a recruit with 95+ speed.

I’m not saying I want an 87 speed wr to jump to 95 but a 1 or 2 point bump isn’t that crazy. Players can get incrementally faster through training.

I agree with you on there being way too many 95+ speed recruits in the game. When you have every receiver being the fastest guy on the field it does get boring but I like the idea of being able to tailor your off-season training. I don’t think that’s too crazy of an ask and actual college programs do tailor their training.

I only use LSU. DB's are awful but I'm decent at usering the LB and keeping outside WR's out of the play.

Bunch formations inside the numbers with a player using a corner route is probably the hardest to defend IMO.

Recruit Athletes that are "elusive backs".

I also have a QB that is 96 speed.

Elusive backs are definitely the best imo. Receiving backs go down when people sniff them and power backs just go 2 yards and a cloud of dust.

Also, I don't know if it's LSU's playbook or what, but putting a fast receiver in the slot and running a slot fade results in a TD like 1/3 of the time.

I know ultimate team gets shite on but I’ve enjoyed it over dynasty mode. Trying to hit level 51 over the next week to get an 87 Harold Perkins.

I’ve got my team to an 84 overall with Tua at QB, Marshall Faulk in the backfield and an 89 overall Kyle Pitts. Next add is going to be either Devonta Smith or Will Anderson.

I’ve been playing mostly UT cause my buddy and I like playing h2h squads

I’ve got an 84/85 overall team so not too different from you. If you ever wanna squad up you’re welcome to join us cause you’re allowed to play with 3. We aren’t great but getting better. Learning how to adjust to playing people online compared to CPU

Hate how you can't skip through the game intro scenes in online play. Back in the day if both players hit x it would skip that crap.

I used to run the speed option with a passing QB and pitch it every time. It was a great play 3 out of 4 times.

Then I recruited an option QB. He can't pitch the ball accurately ever. He pitches it behind the RB ruining his forward motion.

Several times he made an errant pitch to nobody and it's a scoop and score nearly every time.

And don't think for a second that a 99 speed WR can catch a DT on a 95 yard scoop and score.

Anyone else?

Anyone know why "previous play" art is sometimes available and sometimes not?

I’ve seen it every time except if I throw a pick 6

Yea, had a no contact errant pitch with a great option qb in a tight online dynasty game that unwound my team altogether.

Drove it right back down the field and threw a pick 6 in the endzone with 15 seconds left in the half.

I think their should be some bad pitches occasionally. But it shouldn't automatically rocket 20 yards back, where only the defense can grab it.

I played it and got frustrated bc seemed everyone got in on the glitch and got 89 cards and sold them to get a good team. Everyone has best WR and just out paces the DBs. The auction house is ridiculous.

this is a weird glitch and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I played in the sugar bowl.

my team ran through the sparks tunnel in opening cut scene.

And then for the rest of the game the brightness/contrast was the as inside the sparks tunnel.

it was like looking at headlights. and it happened the next time I played a sugar bowl game.

I wouldn't mind doing a dynasty with a triple option team, but the current build of the game doesn't seem to support it:

1. Pitching is wonky AF and too punishing when you miss
2. The defensive pursuit angles are so juiced up now post-patch since the original build of the game, likely bc too many people were abusing Jet Sweep with a WR.
3. DL shed blocks so easily and blocking in general is too inconsistent.

I typically have most success just running it up the gut (trap, zone, etc.), provided my OL is decent. Hopefully the next big patch improves blocking somewhat, or nerfs defensive speed and pursuit a little.

How bout a glitch that I do like. Sometimes you are able to hard and soft sell the same pitch to a recruit. Love when that happens.

I just figured that is how they have the Superdome lighting done in the game, but yeah it is very jarring
