Resident Evil 7 in PSVR.
There are plenty of games I love that would be great to go in fresh again but Resident Evil 7 is a unique experience.

I have 5 but only a few hours in. I think I'll like it, but just a long list of other games I want to get to first.
Lol. Sounds like you have the same problem as me and my bf right now. Bought too many games we haven't finished yet, so we can't justify buying more right now.
Have God of War, Spiderman, Neir, Beyond Two Souls, Telltales Borderlands and GOT, Super Mario 3d World, Smash Bros, Tomb Raider, LIS 2 and The WAlking Dead sitting on the shelf like... "When are we going to finish all this shite?"

Damn. Tough to pick. Some candidates:
Playing Adventure and Pitfall on the Atari 2600 as a kid.
Playing Mike Tyson’s Punch Out or Zelda on NES.
DOOM.
Going to the local Internet cafe, back when those were things, to play Quake online with friends.
Playing through System Shock 2.
Playing through the first two F.E.A.R. games.

Zelda games are so good about creating moments that just stick with you.
Walking out into Hyrule Field for the first time in OoT and seeing how big the field really was and turning from child from adult were very memorable.
That's what makes BOTW so great. So many moments of awesomeness and amazement. I wish I could play it again for the first time

Star Wars Galaxies (PreCU) - My first mmorpg. Being dropped off in Naboo with no idea what an mmorpg was or what to do and learning everything I did from that point forward.
This.. pvp fights in anchorhead was the GOAT.
Too bad the Jedi stuff ruined the game eventually.

Being 7 years old and getting my arse kicked by that first goomba in Super Mario Bros.
Having to choose to kill or spare Wrex on Virmire in Mass Effect.

Goldeneye, N64. Multiplayer, single-player. Everything about that game was perfect.
runner-up, Super Mario World on SNES. I remember getting a huge box of cookies covered in white fudge with sprinkles and playing that game for hours. Would be fun to do that again.

The defense of the Shard in Asheron's Call. I played on Thistledown, and we actually forced the devs to step in because all the other servers defeated the shard to progress the story, yet we ended up leveling it up by letting it kill us then guarded it...stopping the game progression.
The devs actually made a monument in game with all the names of the people who helped defend the shard.

Me and an acquaintance at the time (now one of my best friends) dropped a mutual girlfriend off at the new Orleans airport from BR one day and talked about a ton of shite on the drive back to BR. Turns out we were both gamers and he had just bought God of War - hadn't even fired it up yet. So we drove back to his house and played from like 10am until 2am the next day. That was one of the most fun playthroughs and the game itself was incredible.

I just thought of another one. Beating pokemon red for the first time. I was the first one out of my friends to beat it and get mewtwo. We didnt know how the game ended, who the last fight was after lance, anything. Beat it on my super nintendo with like 5 friends watching. shite was awesome, down to my last pokemon with almost no health or moves left. Beat the final one with gyrados and whatever that shitty move you get is after the other ones all run out. That was probably the most memorable single moment of gaming I've ever had.
For total experience I still stick to witcher 3 or destiny.
