Tyson for me. It was an amazing game. Beating Tyson was an event to be celebrated.

Someone mentioned little league SNK stars? Another great game.

The NES had some bangers. If you were really into baseball, Tony Larusa was super in depth and bases loaded looked so good back then.

I saw your comment on the softball assault video. My daughter plays for the team that was playing against the Illusions in that video.

The dad that was assault is a close friend of mine, and his legal team is actively looking for first hand accounts, similar to yours, of previous experiences with the Illusions and Marshun. Not so surprisingly, once the video surfaced, we have seen an uptick with people sharing stories similar to yours.

Would you be willing to email me exactly what you said, but via email? Nothing further will be needed. We're trying to paper the file against the defendants.

I recently played this again and forgot all the tricks for winning and was terrible

Little kid CatfishJohn would've been so disappointed in adult CatfishJohn.

I could get all the way up to Tyson but I never could land a punch on him, much less beat him. He only had to throw 3 uppercuts and I was done. His uppercuts were so hard to time. Can't tell you how many times I put in his passcode just to get the same results every time. I actually still have my old NES and Punch Out. Surprisingly, everything still works including the controllers that routinely got slammed on the floor. I need to give it a shot again.

Was it Bald Bull that had the three hop, indefensible punch?

I couldn’t beat him, I was not good at this game.

You could keep dodging it until the round ended or you had to punch him in the gut at the right time, and it's an instant knock down no matter how much health he has.

The game, obviously, all about timing and knowing the little nuance to each opponent.

Same here, thanks to 007 373 5963.

Tyson basically turned into Piston Honda if you survived the first minute and a half.

Soda Popinski is brutal on an emulator.

Soda Popinski and perhaps other opponents' movements were designed for older, vacuum tube televisions. New TVs and monitors throw this out of whack making you feel like you dodged at the right time but get hit anyway.

I always hated the 2nd Don Flamenco. He had an odd mechanic where he blocked everything and would only start throwing punches when you lost all your hearts and became winded. You had dodge while winded and he hit like truck this time.

I never looked at the codes so the fat guy that would storm you was the hardest. It took me forever to learn just to jab him in his fat gut.

I am a proud champion of knocking out Tyson in early 1988.

Tyson was probably the hardest looking back. Most annoying was the return of Don Flamenco. Until you figured him out, he just wore you down and made you stay pink.
