GTAV has generated over $9 billion in revenue. I don't know what the margin is on that amount (I'd imagine pretty high), but if I'm an investor, I'm okay waiting.

I dont think GTA was ever going to be woke in any real sense. As far as it wouldve extended would be relenting on never "punching down" as insufferable shite libs put it.
This has more to do imo with their, Rockstars, general reputation of allowing their devs as much time and money to make the game they want to make. This has historically worked extremely well with its peak being RDR2, but theres a very real chance there is a chance it wont this time. This game has reportedly already cost over 1 billion dollars which is surreal

Right. Doing stuff like this takes away from the game imo. I'm sure they won't shy away from jabs at people wearing MAGA hats, but tranny jokes will be virtually nonexistent.
It's like South Park. A large part of the appeal is that they make fun of everyone. When they stop doing that, they lose a large part of the appeal.
