I get it. Just a different mindset. But maybe like Hu said just focus on your solo/duo stats and mess around with friends in squads. Still try to win of course.

I have been a console player on Fortnite since season 1. I built a PC in 2017 and have played other games on it, but I finally tried my hand at PC Fortnite two nights ago. Dropped into a team rumble game (wanted to test the waters in a semi-competitive but easy environment), immediately dropped 11 kills and proceeded to drop 11 more kills in my next team rumble game. Might be time to make the switch.
Building is going to be my biggest hurdle in my console to PC transition. Anyone have any keybinding tips for something like this?

I'll be honest. It's much harder than it used to be to switch. I routinely drop 25 in rumble to warm up and still have difficulty in solos.

Yeah unfortunately I don't think this game is for casual players anymore. I think this season will be my last.

A lot of changes with the update today. Took away health/shields for kills. And that Arena mode may pull some better players away from regular modes.

Man I really liked the health on kills especially for solos. Duos and squads it was a wash.

Yep. It's too hard to compete against people who play all day. I can't imagine how tough it's gonna be this summer when almost all the students will be home all day.

Yeah this past summer is when it got really sweaty. Kids with 3 months to crank 90s in creative. I still have fun but hopefully some of those players will move to Arena mode.

Im fine with taking away shield/health for elims. The thirsting was getting unreal.
DO NOT like the farming mats reduction. Who the frick wants to chop down trees and buildings for 5 mins every match? So stupid.
Also, GTFO with the infantry rifle changes, just vault it forever.
