You weren't in Fortnite, just online. Yeah I'm not sure how it works on PC. Regardless, I should have some time in the next few nights or this weekend and I can just post on here and see what your schedule looks like.

That's why I hate playing squads with only 3 people. I wish they'd make Trios a permanent option.

I’ve gotten pretty good at getting the hell out of dodge as well. Some guy manages to build 10 stories high in about 3 seconds, im out of there. Rifts have saved me many times.Posted on 3/20/19 at 11:47 am to tWildcat

Those types you don't need to worry about too bad. If you just hold low ground and learn to fight out of a box, your golden. They are usually impatient and over zealous. Just learn to use edits and traps and you'll be fine.
For instance, they build on top of you and you turtle up. They jump down and start pick axing your roof. Edit them down and drop a trap. You'll be surprised how often this works.
The kinds you need to worry about are the ones that conserve materials and use edits to kill you. They are preparing for other fights as they are trying to keep as many materials as possible and not get hit.
Watch sypherpk. He is the best I've seen with this. He will let you get high ground. I honestly think he could be one of the best players if he would take competitive seriously.

So is there any "best" order for the ramp floor wall rush on console? I see a lot of people use floor first to avoid accidentally blocking yourself but it does leave you exposed for a split second.

I'm not sure. Watch Gronky or any of the big time controller players.
I do ramp, wall, floor on PC. I would think that would be fairly easy as you can just slowly look down and back up as you place each. That's what a majority of players do.

baws i need a reason to play. i have 0 desire to play fortnite right now. not sure if it's burnout or the fact that the BP this season is absolute shite. there is not a single thing I want in it.

Just play with your friends and have fun. That's what I do. If we win, great. If not we got to bullshite in party chat for a while. I hardly ever play solos because I like having teammates.

Play for the win in competitive. I'll play with ya. You can do duo gauntlets and the such. I love this game because the players are getting better and it forces me to evolve. Going into each battle with absolutely no plan can get exhaustive especially when the other players can't hold their own and get wiped. I typically enjoy solos and duos for serious and squads for fun.

I actually did a long time ago when he got on PS4. I don't think I've sent him an Epic friend request since I got my new account though. At any rate, if you're implying that he takes the game seriously I get it. He's a good player. I just think that in general if you get too caught up in k/d and win rate then you stop having fun.

So last night, we were in a squad together and just messing around and trying to win in stupid ways. We tried a skybase and got shot down because it is clearly visible now (bummer). The guys that shot us down ended up having like 17 kills for one person. His name was Nixxxay. Well two games later I see him in the kill feed again. We are in Pleasant and running around with cannons to hide and shoot someone opening a supply drop. Well we were coming up onto a supply drop and two people drop in on us and we get pooped on. One of our guys was hiding in a ramp and had the Trog skin on. The Nixxxay guy found him and started waving and we were having fun with them. He gets sniped and fun is over. I go into his stream and say "Stop messing with our skybases and cannon memes lol" and "thanks for waving at my friend the trog" He read that and laughed his arse off because he remembered it and was bummed he got killed by a 3rd party.
Turns out this guy is the #1 in kills across all platforms and he and his partner have 2500 wins each.
After that game we hid in cannons at the hill beside divot and trolled the last team and won. Super Super satisfying lol

TX, may be bc I’m young and competitive and stressed from work all the time, but I just can’t play to have fun. Fortnitetracker has ruined me. If I see the %s start going down during a bad session, I rage and quit. I wanted to finish 20% win and 2.5 KD in solo last season and maintained it for most of the season. I had a shite stretch one week and ended up 12% and 2.06 when it was all said and done. I was mad at myself for weeks, which is absurd and silly.
Im too prone to melting now. Don’t want to piss others off when I’m playing and things aren’t going well
