Final Fantasy Fanatic... checking in

A few weeks back, I reassembled the ole PS2, buying parts from GS & Amazon to connect to my TV.
I also purchased FFX. I'm 42hrs in, been doing some grinding, and just got Cid's air ship and free roam after beating Yunalesca.
I'm 5hrs in on FF1 on iPhone5, mainly a toilet player.
I'm playing FF3 on iPad (just started yesterday my 3rd play through), mainly for slow days at the office.
I've played:
1x3
2x1
3 (Japanese) x3
4 x 0
5 x1
7 x5
8 x3
9x4
10 x3
11 x1
12 x0
13 x2
Tactics x 1
Tactics (wolf) x 2
x-2 x 1
13-2 x1
I want to get the Vita (I know, I know. It's a horrible device) but I think I want to DL from the Playstation Store VII-IX.
Hell, I even want this tattoo:
with out the Celtic Cross or peeling skin and putting Clouds Wolf emblem on the front.
I even thought about the L'Cie Tattoo
but thought it would be too mainstream.
To much fandom?

Sounds about like me..only I've never got the chance to play tactics. I'm pretty much obsessed with 1-9.
Eta: when you say you haven't played 4. Are you talking about FF4 for the PS1 (FF2 for the SNES)?

You've never played FF6 (3 in the US)? If not, your Final Fantasy Fanatic card is officially revoked until you do. No self respecting Final Fantasy fan would ever admit to not playing the best FF of them all.

I used to love this series in the SNES and early PSX days.
now Final Fantasy isn't even a blip on my radar.
Same could be said about any games developed by Square Enix. I see them only as a publisher now.

Well, you can't really think the Vita is a bad system if you don't think worse of the Wii U. The Vita has a better more compelling game library and is a much better piece of hardware (that tends to happen handheld vs. console though).
