Curious what the answers will be and if there is a consensus.

A good thing about New Orleans is that I don't have to choose only one, I can choose from many based on what I'm feeling like for that meal.

Right now, I'd head over to Tan Dinh for some eggrolls and pho tai nam.

Mandinas. Casual yet still classy. Neighborhood traditional place. Everything is always good.

I guess it depends on your definition of casual. Today I had lunch at St James Cheese Co, which is one of my casual lunch favorites, but I also consider somewhere like Peche casual.

If by casual you mean dress, then that includes almost every restaurant in the city. Very few places have dress requirements any more. I see people in shorts at Clancy’s all the time.

Charlie's Steakhouse or Vincent's, but that's what I would do if I could only have one. Coin flip and I would be okay either way.

Unless you mean jorts and backwards ball cap casual.

Origen Bistro on St Claude. Origen is my this year sleeper. Great food and an amazing wait staff.

Blind Pelican on St Charles, but it closed. Apparantly, one of the owners drank all their profit away, and other owner closed shop after finding out. They had 25 cent oysters in 2016. So clutch.

My favorite place at the moment, it's not in New Orleans, it's in Metry, it's Dr Jones.

I could eat there every day.

Station 6 is a go to as well
