Maybe in Elmwood or somewhere on Veterans in Metairie? I think it would make a killing on the lunch crowd as well as with catering to work functions.

I honestly can't stand the place. Who serves vegan french onion soup? Stuff is nasty.

A good French onion soup requires lots o beef broth. Vegans cannot have beef broth...

You don't cook much do you? Or ever? Generally anything with "french" in the name is the opposite of vegan.

There's a McAlisters by the Winn Dixie on Tchoup and it is making it. And McAlisters is shittier than Jason's deli IMO.

There is one in Kenner as well. It sucks but then again Golden Corral thrives here.

This.

Then again, I'm not a "deli" fan anyway.

It's loud, the food is mediocre, tables are too close together, it's perfect for people who don't give a shite, I'd rather lick the ear grease off a pay phone.

The mere mention of Jason's Deli makes me throw up a little.

You're correct, because they're overpriced.

I think a Panera Bread would make a killing in Metairie

I agree that Panera Bread would do very well in Metairie. And most of the F & D posters are "anti chain" establishments but Panera is delicious.
