To answer your question, YES, i think it would survive in Metairie. That's the one area in the Metro New Orleans area that seems to support chains. (higher population of transplants, maybe? ) Of course there are exceptions, but for the most part, this is the case. I think an Elmwwod would do better than Vets also.

Now, do i like Jason's Deli? HELL NO.

We recently had a long arse jury trial, and after having Jason's Deli for lunch 2 times in 3 days, the jurors told the Sheriff's deputy they wouldn't eat it any more. They said they would rather pay out of their own pocket for pizza than eat the free Jason's Deli lunches.

I'm not a sandwich shop fan is more what I mean. I like sandwiches at restaurants (like Bistro Byronz, Chimes, etc.) that are hot and different than the norm, but I just don't like to spend my money eating out on something I can make myself easily.
