Whopper

Most definitely a guilty pleasure.

Let's get this straight I am not a foodie person.. There are few foods that I turn my nose up to.. But the last time I had BK it was not like it used to be. It might be the location (Oaklawn and Vets). There were two other BK within a mile but they both closed. When I was younger BK was the shite.. I probably didn't McDonalds until the very late 70's early 80's.

A whopper, McDonald’s fries, and Wendy’s nuggets with a coke from Sonic.

Now there’s a death row meal.

Been some good deals on their app lately, so I've been checking it out more recently. They've definitely stepped up their game quality-wise.

I was just mentioning this to some friends the other day. I was shocked how big of a burger it is compared to other fast food chains.

Big by diameter, not by weight.

The Whopper bun has too much bread IMO so I usually go with the Whopper, Jr. which has turned into a slider.

But 2 Whoppers for $5 is a great deal.

Speaking of shrinking burgers... Sonic's burger is shrinking. Used to be my go-to but price is up and size is down.

Two whopper juniors from the Walhalla SC Burger King was my go-to trout fishing lunch for years. But they weren't $1, I think they were 2 for 3. Did they shrink them? I haven't had one in years, since I gave up flyfishing because it's hard.
