The problem is it's just too damn messy. No way you can eat it on the road. A Whopper you can actually somewhat hold together.

The Whopper kills any burger sold at true ‘fast food’ establishments, like McD, Wendy’s, and Rally’s.

I’ll take a Double Whopper with cheese and bacon over ANY burger from any other fast food place. They just taste better and are way more satisfying. I get that they are extremely unhealthy, and I try to
limit myself to one a month. But I enjoy the hell out of em when I indulge.

Their bacon king has been a guilty pleasure for a while now. A little extra salt on their fries would make them pretty darn good, if they aren’t hours old heat lamp fries.

Tried my first one last week and it was good.

BK and Whataburger are the best in my area.

A good fresh whopper hits the spot. But getting a fresh one is not easy.

Yeah, last time I had one (3-4 years ago now) it was because I had a hankering for one at breakfast. Figured they would have to make it fresh if I was ordering it at 7:30 am. It must have been a leftover from the night before because I got food poisoning.

I guess I'm pretty lucky that the BK near the house is decent. They're tucked in next to a McDonald's, a local place called The Purple Onion, across from a Krystal and a couple of chicken places. Inside is always clean, and the food is good. My oldest boy loves their kids meals more than McDonald's, but he does prefer burgers to nuggets. Last time I ate there, got a Whopper Jr meal. Hit the spot, but of course had to stay near a toilet for the next hour or so until the Exodus occurred.

Their service is garbage but I do like the flame broiled burger more than any of the original fast food burgers.

I 'member about a 15 years ago when you could get 2 Whopper meals for $5.00

Wanted to say how long ago this was but it made me feel too old. Anyway on Friday nights during the school year and random week nights in the summer mom would drive us to BK for $1 Whoppers after 9 pm. Crazy how much we could eat back then.

While I prefer the whopper over McDonalds (garbage) or Wendy's, Whataburger is the flat out best real fast food burger, and it's not even close.

I can't get sauteed peppers or green chilies on a whopper.

About a year ago, I was on the road and near Amite, LA and swing by BK and got a whopper. It was cooked perfect, hot from the cooker, the bread was perfect, everything was perfect and incredible. I know that I will never Get another as good at that one for the rest of my life.

Something similar happened to us on the way home from Destin one time, except it was a Wendy's. We were swinging back through our hometown to visit mine and my wife's parents, so we were on a stretch of I-10 and stopped to grab a bite. Wife orders a single with cheese combo, with no onions. I ordered a double with cheese combo, no pickles/onions. It was one of those two window drive thru's, and by the time we paid at the first window, they had our bag hanging out of the second window. Everything was super fresh and just perfect. I dubbed it Super Wendy's, and we made a few more stops there over the years. While it wasn't perfect, it was always above average for a fast food drive through meal.

I remember when i was a teenager in the 90s, they had whooper specials for .99cents each. My basketball crew would order 30 at a time. It would pissed off the workers.
