Last night I had me a big, tall glass of whole milk. Ice cold.

First time in a very long time and let me tell you, that stuff is so dang good.

I used to hate being forced to drink milk as a kid, but it's time to bring it back into my rotation.

SO good.

We used to drink 2%. If I drank a glass now I’d be farting for two days straight.

That’s my wife (no pics). She’s Japanese and intolerant of most milk based products. I rarely drink milk as a beverage but use it in cooking and a dash with my coffee in the morning. Just a tablespoon or less but it makes a difference…. to me at least. She tried to convert me to soy, almond, oat….nope. Not having it. It’s not that the flavor was awful but it can’t match the silky consistency of whole milk.

Have a small dairy a couple of miles from my house. They have a little store on the farm. Their whole milk isn’t homogenized so it has clumps of milk fat floating in it... shake well!

It’s like drinking a milk shake. The fat content has to be higher than regular whole milk. A little more expensive but worth it.

I keep an half gallon of whole milk on hand at all times.. I never drink it. I use it for grits, cereal and scrambled eggs.. And sometimes coffee..

We’ve gone to Horizon brand ultrapasteurized milk. It lasts several weeks, which was important during the Covid shortages when we had to stock up when it was available. Never had it go sour.

Same here. Never drank milk as a kid.

Started about 6 years ago.

Then upgraded to a local dairy. Tastes vastly superior

I probably don't drink a gallon of milk a year, but when I do drink it, I'm usually dunking some homemade chocolate chip cookies in it or having some with a PB&J I like to eat every blue moon.

Other times it's used in a bowl of cereal and drank when the cereal is gone-----don't really eat much of that either.

They now have lactose free milk and also lactose free half and half.

No more gas...tastes the same.

I grew up with skim because people used to think fat makes you fat.

When we had our own kids and they started drinking Whole Milk, I tried some too and my life was changed.

Glass of any type of milk put in the freezer long enough to get a little frozen on top with a bite of something sweet is the best. I do it every night.

I make sure to always have some in the fridge.

It's good for building strong kids and it's not too bad with a dessert either.

It’s got to be ice cold for me.

I used to pour it over a glass filled with ice cream.

Small chunks of milk would freeze on the ice cream

Smell ice cream would melt.

It was a perfect combination of deliciousness.

Now I do frozen berries in a glass and fill with milk

Ha, I put a glass of milk in the freezer every night for one and a half hours. Take a fork and scrape sides and bottom, like a milk icee. Twist a oreo in half, scoop up the froze milk, one of the best things ever.
