No one hates on Port of Call. I will disagree with people that think it's God's gift to burgers; it doesn't stand out.

It's tasty, but avoid the line/tourists and go to Lakeview Harbor instead.

I'm going to have to disagree w lakeview harbor. While it used to be just as good, it has really gone downhill in quality and service. Port of Call was known has having the best burger for many yrs until the whole gourmet burger craze happened ab 5 yrs ago. Is it still the best burger in the city, No. But it's still a good burger and a fun place to have a drink. It just became trendy to hate on it bc it's a place tourists go. Yo mamas used have a great burger and I would send everybody there instead of port of call but the owner ruined it and they recently changed ownership. My favorites are cowbell, company, high hat, LPG, and Mondo.

It's a standard cheeseburger served bloody with melted American cheese. There's nothing wrong with that. I prefer beach corners because I don't have to wait forever for the same product. I understand if you prefer a fancier burger, but I think it's a little crazy to pay fifteen bucks for ground Chuck. To each their own

Company was such a disappointment. The burger looked like it was steamed. No flavor just meh. Bland and mayo choices were pretty much meh also. Could have caught them on a bad day. I love me some good burgers but this was the worst I had in some time. There was no sear on the burger at all. All grey and like I said looked as if it was steamed. Most likely cause would have been a flat top at too low a temperature.

Haven't tried many listed, but thoroughly enjoy the burgers at Luke, LPG, and Balise.
