Wow, that sucks. This new place has different years of the BTAC so I think I'll be doing some side by side comparisons of them. Maybe I need to quit telling people about it so there's more for me later

As luck would have it, it is right on the way to my cousin's deer camp, AND I'll have two DD's with me when I pass by.

How's the Weller Special Reserve? Went to my store to see if they had the 12 and OWA 107 to try the blend, but they only had the 12 and the Special Reserve.

It's not as good as the 12 Year but still a damn good bourbon for $32 bucks a handle.

Same thing happened to me today. I was picking up a few bottles that were being held for me and started to grab a wl12 and a 107 to mix but all the had was the 12 and the special reserve so i passed.

Local place here had a lottery for their harder to find bottles from the last couple months and BTAC/Pappy, etc. I was bummed b/c they called me last week and said I was pulled for a Stagg Jr, which I haven't been a huge fan of. I just thanked them and declined but told them if there were any bottles left unclaimed to give me a call back and I would probably one of those if it was a better one (though I figured most of the good stuff would go and it would be left with the Stagg Jr, Single Oak project and the stuff that you can somewhat find). Got the call today and they called out the list of what was still available and they still had ORVW10, VW12 then finally said a Sazerac 18. Long story short, since I was so torn b/w getting the VW12 and Sazerac 18, they sold both of them to me. Happy Days

Yea the 107 is hard to find...we cleaned out one online place of all of them because there's none to be had in this area.

There's a lot of room in there, and I can always put extra in the cabinet under the buffet. Always a contingency plan
There's definitely still room for some WLW from your collection
