I have two bottles of Elijah Craig BP 134.8p that I bought awhile back, would like to trade one for a whiskey I never tried before, if anyone is looking for a bottle.

Thanks for the list.
Picked up the last three earlier and an extra bottle of weller and devil's cut.

I know nothing about this Leap Day label. Can anyone shed some light?
Also, I just got some Hancock Reserve and Rock Hill farms. Very excited bc I haven't seen them around or tasted them in years. I haven't opened them yet but I'm curious if you guys have any tasting notes.....

The Acquistipaces pick would rank last...it's just a bit disjointed with a lack of an identity or a nice finish
Up next SAOS 10
No HP18 yet...I need to let the wife wrap her head around a bunch of new bottles first.

My initial thoughts as well, looking forward to trying 3&4. To me 2 is more classic bourbon flavors and a really long finish. 1 is more floral and dry.

Anyone tried this yet? I've been curious for a while so I couldn't pass up the mini for $2.

As I mentioned earlier, I suck at reviews and it doesn't help that this is something that I find difficult to label.
The nose is almost all sherry until it sits for about 10mins and then you can start to notice the peat. Tasting it you'll notice the sherry but not as pronounced as the nose would suggest. The peat gets fairly heavy at this point. (Moreso than I'm used to at least.) It's not Lagavulin by any means but it's a lot more peat than HP18.
Overall, I like it. It's different in a lot of ways that work well together in my opinion. My knowledge of scotch is limited though so take my recommendation with a grain of salt.

How would you guys rank your favorite scotch distilleries?
As far as ones I've had multiples of Highland Park and Balvenie rank as my top two. Maybe I haven't had the right Macallans yet but I don't understand their popularity.

I suck at reviewing too. I either like or don't like. With that said I have had HP15 and now 18 and I like them both. And I really like lag distillers edition (and the 16). I haven't had enough to say who my favoret distillers are. I can say with certainty I can not stand Laphroaig
I have only had the mac12 on more than one occasion and while it's good it's pricy.

Finally made to Mobile last night to pick up my Pappy before a short vacation. I cracked open the 20 year, it was excellent. Still have a 10 year and lot B to bunker
