re: Baton Rouge brunch recommendations - EMILIO
Admittedly, I'm from NOLA and don't get to BR for brunch too often, but I recently dined at Rouj for brunch and the experience was great. Food, service, management all were very good. Was a pretty interesting menu as well, not just the same ol' eggs and hollandaise. I actually had the Pork Schnitzel...

Bally's vs NBA League Pass - EMILIO
Looks like Bally's id about $20 per month and that the lower level of NBA LP is $14.99. Is there any difference? They have a one team option on LP but it seems like most people are getting the Bally's subscription. Anybody have any experience here? ...

re: Best place to get a sack of Crawfish in NOLA area - EMILIO
I'd also recommend checking out Danny & Bonnie's on Belle Chasse Hwy. Usually good prices and always good quality crawfish. The people there are always accommodating, and I usually only give 12-24 hours notice. Never a problem....

re: Best Italian Sausage in LA - EMILIO
Damn where did you hear that?
From the owner Paul Marciante. They are no longer going to be able to share the space that they have been in with JV foods. Decided to pull the trigger on retirement. Could possibly sell the brand though....

I keep reading that it's good. I need to go check it out. Was using Marciante's (Kenner) but they are now going out of business. Sucks....

Best Italian Sausage in LA - EMILIO
Who sells the best Italian sausage in the state? Closer to NOLA is better. Being able to buy in bulk is preferred. Open to both mild and spicy suggestions. Trying to do some research. TIA ...

re: Kitchen Remodel Question - EMILIO
What about the some buyers that would prefer the best appliance they can get instead of matching?
I've been in the restaurant business for years so this is where my head is, but it seems like it might be just me. Anyone have any experience with the Frigidaire Pro line? We looke...

re: Kitchen Remodel Question - EMILIO
I've looked at a bunch of sets and some parts of the set will review well and there is always a dog in the group. "Fridge is great but dishwasher sucks", stuff like that. Just figured that it would be preferred to have all good stuff rather than brand name....

Kitchen Remodel Question - EMILIO
The wife and I are beginning to plan a kitchen remodel. Looking at stainless appliances and they come in sets or sold individually. I am leaning to breaking it up and buying different appliances from different brands depending on quality/ratings. This in not a "forever" home so resale value is a con...

Every year on the way to Breck, we go to Sunrise Cafe for breakfast. Green chilies all over the menu. Stuffed pablano peppers are really good too. It's kind of in the hood, but solid food. ...

I'm sure it will be said, but don't miss Joe Patti's. That place is a wonderland. Can't, for the life of me, figure out why there is not an exact replica around NOLA?...

re: The French Laundry - EMILIO
I have to wonder how many times a year are they selling a $20K bottle of Screaming Eagle or Romanee-Conti
We sit on big bottles pretty much perpetually. Maybe once or twice a year do we sell something like a DRC or Harlan. Super high end stuff collects dust....
