If anyone ends up at the Bourbon Society Christmas party tonight and haven’t met me. I have a green and white long sleeve shirt on. I’m currently sitting at the bar.

Just say wick, I will respond.

Picked up a bottle of OE7BS yesterday. If it drinks half as good as the bottle looks, I’ll be happy.

I’ll pop her open here shortly and report back

Do all the stores that do raffles now charge way more than suggested retail? Or is it just Robert's tonight?

Brother just called and said their raffle includes Pappy 15 ($600), 23 ($900), and Lot B ($300). He's calling me back to tell me the other prices.

frick those assholes. Way to ensure winners flip them instead of drinking them. For a raffle no less. Like it's a privilege to buy at basically secondary prices.

Forget that. I would walk on that. Here in KY there is a slight markup over MSRP. My 12 year was $84 this year

I think I paid around 300 but missing the Oban nights watch and one of the lesser houses. They are going to call when they get whichever house I'm missing in, and the Oban may be raffled.

fwiw,I talked to the guy at Cannatas in Houma today and he said the Oban nights watch hasn't reached anywhere in Louisiana yet. Said the Clynelish will have the least amount of bottles produced.
