my person just got back to me and said they want $250 for a bottle of this years stagg... I mean I expected to pay more than the $99 "suggested retail" but that's insane right? I passed. I can get a bottle of stagg junior for 50-60.... this shite just don't make sense

Nope... vineria. They are usually great about sticking or getting me the good stuff for a solid price, but the owner has lost his mind with this release. That was the "special price" I was given so he's selling it for higher. And the 10 yr van winkle even higher than that

Anyone know where i can get Weller 12 in Baton Rouge today? Calandro's is out, so is Rouse's on Perkins.

It has been almost impossible to find for the last 3-4 years. When a store gets it in, it doesnt end up on the shelves.

2 years ago I walked in a fairly well known store in North LA and saw an entire case on the shelf. Stupidly I bought 2 bottles and left the rest. If I had known what would ensue with its availability I would have bought the entire case to drink on as I have only come across one bottle since then.

Last time I saw it on a shelf was in Bossier. A full case on the shelf, I bought 3 and I am still kicking myself. That was 3-4 years ago.

Can’t even find weller special reserve around here. I saw a 1.75 at calandros and snatched it up for about $35. I could probably sell it for double plus shipping on some of these resale groups.
In other parts of the country, you can buy WSR by the case any day of the week, but can’t dream up a bottle of $20 Buffalo Trace.

The store I frequent told me they’ll be getting Weller 12 in this weekend and that I can swing by on Monday to grab one. It’s $100 for a half gallon. Is this a must get?
