Uncle Ben's Fried Chicken on Nicholson. "Uncle Ben's Breasts Are Best!" was the t-shirt. At least if someone would cough up the seasoning recipe, I would fade off into the sunset.

I would be happy if they would re-open Chelsea's in that Ogden Park shopping center, near Radio Bar. Just sell the food from Chelsea's, with no bar and no live music. It would be worth it to have the chicken mojo poboy back.

Snowflake had decent, crispy yard bird, served from a little shack on Eddie Robinson, off of E Washington.

Silver Moon would nice to have back, too. Steamin bowl of rice and beans, with your choice of meat, would fill you up for cheap.

Baton Rouge is inundated with burger joints, yet the place that had the best burger, Ground Patti, quit BR several years ago.

I'll take Ground Patti or the original China Express on Coursey in BR.
