I'm looking to extend my food supply during these times of hardship. Which Campbells or Progresso soups would be good to serve over rice?

Thanks

Not a soup, but Blue Runner White or Red Beans.
You could thin them out to make them as soupy as you’d like.

Campbells Beefy Mushroom is surprisingly good. It’s like a decent brown gravy with slices of shrooms. Good with rice or potatoes.

Is this really your goal? To eat for cheap? Cause like others have said, beans would be a great cheap option.

Can’t be. I could feed my kids and I for what a can of Progresso costs.

No, it’s just to turn my cans of soup into a whole meal.

Or better yet just eat it by itself. It makes a pretty hearty meal. I love that stuff. Every now and then I’ll poach an egg in it. Just crack an egg in it and let it simmer with the lid on the pot for the last 3-4 minutes.

For rice I’d make cheesy rice with Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese Soup.
