Have full weekend bracelets for the Windy City Smokeout next weekend here in Chicago. Some heavy hitters on the BBQ side of things.

Any I should be prioritizing? I've already had

Bub City - decent
Green Street Meats - best in Chicago
Lillie's Q - good
Salt Lick - controversial, I know, but I really liked it both times I've had it in TX

I think Rodney Scott's is my current #1 priority. A little disappointed Fox Bros aren't back this year.

BBQ Lineup

Truth is pretty good...I'd give Leroy and Lewis a shot too.

There's definitely some good ones, but I feel like there were a shitload more last time. Maybe it's easier for those people to sign on late and they're still adding

Windy City is a fantastic event. Not sure you can go wrong but Ubons are some of the greatest people in bbq, Blue Oak and Hoodoo Brown are great, Sam Jones, and Rodney Scott all worth a visit. Pearl’s as well. Danny Beck is a cool dude.

Admittedly I’m playing favorites. No one bad in that lineup.

I can certainly oblige that request. The problem the last time I was there was that everyone was running out of shite. Hopefully they plan for it better this year.

It's gotten bigger and bigger every year. The "talent" at this thing is unreal.

Whatever happened to Rodney from Chelsea's Ribs down in Homewood? Dude knew how to make some real stuff. Haven't seen him in years. If he's turned up, I'd be at his spot.

Fellas, i forgot what the crowd at a country show looks like but got dam. Even if you hate the music it's worth it for the scenery.

Buffalo garlic and Nashville spiced from pearls in Chicago. Really good.

And tell your boys to open the shite up.
