If you're by the gallaria and want an excellent steak, Pappa Bros Steakhouse is phenomenal.

The original Ninfas in east downtown is great for Mexican food.

El tiempo and Armando's are my favorite Mexican dinner spots when I go in. Can't go wrong with any of the creeks, except for dry creek since its dry, but onion creek is my favorite because I lived right by it back in the day.
